O Ye Mighty Jewish Voters in Florida! (Never Ye Mighty Jews in NY, NJ, CT, DC)

From the Times:

"CNN, which saw its ratings surge on nights like Super Tuesday, has yet
to resolve how much of the conventions it will present, said David
Bohrman, who directs the coverage in his capacity as Washington bureau
chief. It has also not decided which of its high-profile hosts —
including Larry King, Anderson Cooper, Wolf Blitzer and Campbell Brown— will travel to the
convention cities to anchor the channel's coverage from a desk on the
convention floor, Mr. Borhman said."

A friend (a Jewish tea-leaf-reader) asks: "Why doesn't it matter that Campbell Brown is married to Dan Senor
who was an AIPAC intern and whose sister Wendy Senor Singer is director
of AIPAC in Jerusalem. Brown demonstrates which way she's going by
converting to Judaism
.  Plus Senor's sister's hubby is Saul Singer, right-wing
columnist at J Post. Rather different than Blitzer who also came out of AIPAC but has none
of the zealousness of the converted and is, I think, one of the better
handlers of the issue.  But 3 Jews out of four and one a stealth AIPAC."

I saw Senor all over the AIPAC conference last week. He spoke openly of how he  [AIPAC] had converted former MI Sen. Spencer Abraham, an Arab-American, to Israel support long before Abraham ran for Senate, by helping to extinguish $500,000 in debt the Michigan Republican Party had. Abraham was then party boss. [PS. This anecdote is wrong. Checked my notes; Senor said that Ed Levy, an AIPAC big in Michigan, had done the service for Abraham. Not Senor himself, though I sensed he played a part...]

Speaking of money and religion and the powers that be, the Times says that Obama is now courting Hillary's fundraisers, in NJ and NY. Many are wary of Obama. There's Maureen White, Connecticutian wife of Steve Rattner, who did or didn't stick with Lieberman after Lamont beat him (the echo that Obama doesn't want to hear). There's Alan Patricof. There's Lynn Forester de Rothschild, who's queasy about BHO. A good number of these folks are Jewish. Oh sorry, I forgot: Obama's AIPAC pander was about Jewish votes in Florida!

Here's a revealing flash of candor, in the otherwise narcisstic Slimes article in which the fossilized MSM seeks to cast its talking faces as pseudo-celebrities:

"As television programs, conventions long ago made the transition from smoke-filled gatherings with more suspense than a C.S.I. episode to gleaming, ready-made infomercials where the audience knows the ending from the beginning."

So, why voluntarily subject yourself to hours of slick manipulation? You might as well stand outside the Indian Point nuke plant to catch some millirems. It's toxic drivel; cognitive coprophagy.

Here is some actual news which will be taboo to discuss at the convention. From the AP:

    ————

WASHINGTON – The House has voted to send articles of impeachment against President Bush to a committee that is not likely to hold hearings before the end of his term. By 251-166, House members dispatched the measure to a committee on Wednesday — a procedure often used to kill legislation.

Republicans, seeing a chance to force Democrats into an embarrassing debate, voted to bring up the resolution. Democrats countered by pushing through a motion to scuttle the bill from the floor.

If crimes are believed to have occurred, impeachment is not a political option; it's a constitutional DUTY. In shirking their obligation to protect the people against executive lawbreaking, Democrats are trashing the rule of law just as thoroughly as Bush and Cheney have done.

Barack taught constitutional law; Hillary worked for the House Judiciary Committee during the Nixon impeachment. Both have a perfectly detailed and nuanced understanding of their legal obligations. Both would prefer to pitch them overboard in the interest of partisan victory.

Efamol till they croak. NOTA for president!

How come i continue to hear Jews are dying out due to intermarriage?

The young Jews that I meet on campuses are also zionists. Where are the future "good" Jews?

The worst, most venal of the "Christians" are embracing Judaism and the Jewish ethos (ie ambitious social climbers bedazzled by Jewish money, "Christian" fanatical supporters of Israel in Congress and the Establishment, faithless Christian Zionists who are now gravitating towards Noahide laws link to truthtellers.org
) whereas the best of the Jews are now embracing the Christian ethos.

Support for political Zionism and its agenda is the key to understanding who is who.

I recently caught up with your most thorough piece on Secretary State Rice in More magazine, and wish to add a personal perspective about world affairs. In spring `93 I accompanied my mother on a“Holy Land tour'' with her community church members and friends in southwest Florida. It was a week of wonder and enlightenment for a Christian to `walk where Jesus walked'. One afternoon during a short break for the Christian Arab guide and driver in Bethlehem I engaged a bit with an energetic young vendor about Hamas, as he stood by the bus. It escalated rather quickly, and a fellow traveler, seasoned and older, got us calmed down. (Unfortunately for him, there were no sales). Then at another stop a day or so later, at the Cana wedding site, I checked out photo opportunities and found several youngsters with a soccer ball in an enclosed courtyard. Again, luckily for me, as I placed my camera on the wall and succeeded in getting a couple shots, another “pilgrim'' standing there moved me to avoid a well-thrown stone that came very close to my head. Those two moments are as real in my mind as the scheduled stops and activities on Lake Tiberias, Capernaum, a nearby kibbutz and Bethany. Once again, kudos for your portrait of Ms. Rice. (I took piano lessons for seven years as a youngster in NW Indiana). Thank you.
