The New York Post demonstrated the wisdom of the New York Times today by printing the McCain opinion piece the Times rejected. It’s a long negative campaign ad. I think it mentions Obama by name or pronoun 25 times. I bet Obama’s piece, to which McCain had sought a rejoinder, hardly mentioned McCain.

AHA! This time I got here first you dogs! Now you VILL LISTEN!!
But in fact I have nothing bad to say. This is no fun.
Well I suggest that just as TV shold be required to run the candidates ads for free, the newspapers should be required to print their statements.

I remember my Mommy said 'If you have nothing good to say then dont say anything at all'. It seems I am still obeying her, tho in a negative sense.
Maybe I should hold back on the vitriol. A subtle scent of wormwood is more tasteful.
