The press continues to sidestep a central issue re Madoff. The geography of Madoff's fraud is Jewish geography. These people trusted Madoff because he was Jewish and other Jews liked him. Steven Spielberg, Mort Zuckerman, the Lappin Fund:

As I said in a previous comment, he dismissed my similar remarks about 'Jewish philanthropy' being code for 'philanthropy for Jews' as a display of ignorance, citing the apparently numerous Jewish donations to the building of the so-called Lincoln Center, IIRC, which he says are all emblazoned on a plaque there (that I believe)
The Madoff scandal is having a big impact on the Israel Lobby…
not only individual bag men are hurt,
but also big blow to the "charities" which are the cover behind which aid is funneled to settlers,Israel Defense Forces,etc..
and as a bonus…big donors to democratic party were hit big time..
So what's the inside deal? The old guy is the mutually agreed fall guy within the family for the monster scam about to be revealed by the tremendous fall of Wall Street? Imagine how much scam money the Madoff clan have hidden away…
On the matter of assimilation, I have always wondered why some people don't get the American social contract. If you come here the deal is you have to agree to assimilate. If you can't or won't do that, you ought to go somewhere else. You will be happier and so will your neighbors.
I don't know if the Madoff affair represents a typical clan money con or if the jewish wealth establishment is being, if not deliberately dismantled, at least helped along by forces other than their own greed and stupidy.

According to Jpost, 600 million dollars, or 20% of the Jewish Community's total non-profit net worth, is gone. The heavy donors were not severely affected, most losing between 5 and 10 percent of their net worth. More importantly, the largest and most influential pro-Israel political/lobbying organizations have lost nothing. Thank G-d for that!
It appears something called Santander bought MY bank, and now it is reporting it has lost a couple billion through buying Madoff rubbish too. The pound sterling is now worth so little we cannot afford our customary imports, and therefore will have to start investing our energy in physical production in Britain again, if the bankers will let us (and if not, maybe we can ignore the bankers and print greenbacks, so to speak).
