In an interview with Politico's Ben Smith, Anti-Defamation League chief Abe Foxman criticized George Mitchell's stance of "neutrality."
"The Swiss were neutral [in World War II]," he said.
So: Foxman gets to lambaste all Hitler and Holocaust references he doesn't like, but can suggest that Mitchell is like neutral Switzerland during WWII (re standing by during the Holocaust if I read between the lines properly, and I think I do). --Phil Weiss

Israeli officials moved closer to being prosecuted for war crimes after Norwegian medics in Gaza found traces of depleted uranium on Gaza victims, suggesting that Israel used the illegal weapons in its war on the impoverished territory, which houses some 1.5 million Palestinians.
According to the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA), there is a "high risk of developing cancer from exposure to radiation emitted by … depleted uranium weapons. This risk is assumed to be proportional to the dose received."
The Geneva Convention has classified depleted uranium ammunitions as 'illegal weapons of mass destruction' due to their high radioactivity and toxicity.

Today's New York Times has a article about the Israeli's use of white phosphorus on women and children in Gaza. It's moderate in tone and there's no suggestion of censure. In contrast the previous piece they did on white phosphorous was an angry editorial condemning the the US army for using it in Falluja in 2005. I can understand why the Times is so upset about the US Army's use of white phosphorous. It's a vicious vengeful weapon and anyone who uses it should be prosecuted for a war crime. I just wonder why the Times condemns the US for using it in Iraq in 2005 but doesn't condemn the IDF for using it in Gaza today.

Foxman is a lying swine and that's all there is to it. Anyone who takes his ranting seriously is an idiot.

So perhaps Mitchell should instead do the right thing and side with the Palestinians against the Judeofascist killing machine, of which Foxman and his 'civil rights' organization are merely another front. The Nazis had their foreign loyalists, too. But unlike Foxman, most of them didn't have the chutzpah — or bad taste — to couch their fascist sympathies as civil rights movements. I guess Foxman picked up that particular tactic from the Communists, and modified it to fit his own brand of racial nationalism.
Well, Foxman is only partially wrong. The Palestinians are like the NAZIs in the sense that they view their own predicament as due to
the foreign element in their midst. The Weimar Germans had every right to point out the Jews so paramount in the early communist
terror regime, which had taken over various German states, and threatened all of Germany. The Germans knew what had transpired
in communist lands, the extermination of so many goy elites, and their middle class backers. Just because Hitler talks about this in Mein Kampf does not mean it was not real. In fact, as the USSR dissolved, and more material has been declassified, we see much
truth in what Hitler posited. Hitler did not spring full-blown out of the mouth Zeus. I have yet to see a good analysis of Hitler's
