In the last day, Ali Abunimah on the Laura Flanders show, Stephen Hawking on Al-Jazeera, and Dan Levy on World Focus have all made the same analogy for talking to Hamas: the Brits and George Mitchell talked to the IRA (and Sinn Fein, too, Abunimah and Levy said). This is an important point, independently stated by three fine minds. Hark the herald angels sing. (I see there's already pushback on this point, with of course an Israeli connection.) Oh and Gerry Adams: Israel and others have to talk to Hamas.
