‘This is William Kristol’s last column’

If only this signaled a change in the editorial direction of the NYT…
Personally, I find Friedman more objectional–he has many of the same formulations as Kristol, but he's viewed as "thoughtful" and "non-ideological".
I agree with CLW. Friedman lost me when he justified going to war in Iraq by saying we just needed to hit someone in the face.
I still love the gossip about Krystol "shaking the pom-poms" for Sarah Palin, which I think was part of a very clever strategy on the part of the so-called "neo-cons" to ensure that Obama did not lose the election.
LOL. Imagine if Krystol, carrying his pom-poms, met Palin's hubby in a dark alley. Why not? Imagine IDF handsome soldiers as rodents.
In the deep of our psyches, we all know what we are. Lucky, most people are not deep; can be easily seduced. Take a gander at that IDF these days. Compare what you see with the US troops. It's like day and night, in a reverse MAUS book.
