Neo-neocons scheme the restoration

Here's a site I had never heard about, New Majority, in which protean neocon David Frum is trying to reinvigorate the neocons. The problem is that they offer the same oldtime dual-loyalty religion: Noah Pollak, in this case, of Commentary and the Shalem Center, running down Chas Freeman, Obama's choice for the head of the National Intelligence Council as a — watch out– Arabist!

There's a picture of Pollak there, I'm guessing against the honey-colored stone of Jerusalem, that makes it clear he's a young guy. Goodlooking. Do you wonder why a kid whose future is in front of him is buying this parochial stuff? His rant is very army-surplus. It's about the Arabists in the State Department who said that Israel would be a millstone around the U.S.'s neck. Well they were right. And the thing is, those Arabists have never been granted any real influence, in 60 years now. Because Pollak's mentor Frum decided to incinerate Iraq, the Arabists are getting some face-time now.

Pollak also attacks John Mearsheimer, distorting his words. The time is not far away when neocons, whenever they try to grab the mike, will be asked a few questions:

Where are you on the two-state solution? What does the Palestinian state look like? Jerusalem? The Hebron settlers?  Do you agree with Jeff Ballabon, senior vice president of CBS, that Palestinians are incapable of self-government? What did you think of "Slumdog Millionaire"?
