I keep waiting for a liberal Jewish congressman to join the new multicultural consensus post-Gaza (epitomized by Reps. Baird/Edwards/Ellison). Could it be Adam Schiff of Burbank? He was for recognizing the Armenian genocide. Nope. Susie Kneedler writes:

whom they worked hard to elect, only to be disappointed when he turned
first into a "blue dog," then into an Israel-firster. From the LATimes:
Rep. Adam B. Schiff (D-Burbank) said the proposal sounded "completely
unworkable," even if the individual Hamas-backed officials agreed to
abide by U.S. conditions.
"You couldn't have the leadership of a terrorist organization pick the
ministers in the government, with the power to appoint and withdraw
them, and answering to them," he said.
Congressman, what did we do in Iraq? There's a government made up of former "terrorist" orgs.
