Being wrong on Iraq continues to pay career dividends

Bruce Wolman writes:

Larry Summers is not the only one raking it in from business interests while temporarily out of public service. Tony Blair is also doing well in the ka-ching-ka-ching department.

Mind you Blair is not just a retired former Prime Minister. Currently, he is reported to be the leading candidate for first permanent President of the EU.
With Barack Obama joining Silvio Berlusconi to make sure Anders Fogh Rassmussen – the neo-Conservative, anti-immigrant, pro-Iraq-war Danish Prime Minister – becomes Secretary General of NATO over the objections of Turkey, it still pays to have been a forceful ally and a friend of George Bush in his march to war in Iraq.
