Max Blumenthal: How I Got Gassed in the West Bank

We've been posting updates from Max Blumenthal from the West Bank. One of them was from the village of Ni'lin, where Max watched a nonviolent protest against the Separation Barrier get violently disbanded by the Israeli military. Max has now posted two amazing short videos from his trip on the Daily Beast. The first one deals with his experience in Nil'in, home demolitions in Silwan and the views of Palestinian students at Bir Zeit University:

Why not put them on YouTube? It allows others to embed them into their blogs or websites much more easily.

"You see this napkin? In 24 hours, we could have the signatures of 70 Senators on this napkin." –Former AIPAC official Steven Rosen, speaking to a sympathetic journalist (Jeffrey Goldberg). Maybe those Senators can watch the daily reality of Palestinians before they betray humanity, the country and the president.

Chu it doesn't matter whether those senators see this or not, they're not getting paid to have hearts. The video was great, I've never seen Americans humanize Palestinians this way before. That's why I watch Al Jazeera. I never knew that he was Sidney Blumenthal's son until a few days ago.

  5. Chu says:

Humanize? Well, the IDF does a terrific job at dehumanizing Palestinians. Good to see that he is pushing the story, unlike the complacent news organizations.
