If the Palestinians don't want to risk their kids getting killed in the crossfire, they should keep their terrorists away from their civilian areas. If the Israelis don't want to risk their kids getting killed by the Palestinians, they should keep them off of buses and out of restaurants, and in concrete bunkers to avoid the mortars and rockets. The people of Iran may want democracy, but the government of Iran doesn't seem to be going along with it. Thom, your ignorance is showing. You're trying to tell us that Israel did not start the 1956 Suez war? That Israel did not start the 1967 war? Even the 1973 Yom Kippur War that Egypt initiated was to take back the Sinai which Israel illegally siezed and still held more than 5 years later.

The Egyptians had been blockading the Israeli port of Eilat since 1950. A blockade is an act of war. 1950 was before 1956. Sorry pal. The Egyptians started the Suez war. Wow, they really didn't learn their lesson either. While they and their allies gathered on the borders of Israel (after throwing out the U.N. "peacekeeping" force from the Sinai) 100,000 troops from Egypt alone. They also decided to replay the Suez war by, you guessed it, blockading Eilat again. Sorry buddy, Egypt started that one too. As you admit, they also started the war in 1973. Sorry to have to burst your bubble, but when another country (Egypt) attacks you (Israel), and they lose, you get to take their land (the Sinai). That is a good reason to think twice before you attack someone. It never ceases to amaze me that the Palestinians and their supporters think that they should be able to try to exterminate the Israelis, and take their land, then when they lose, be able to say "just kidding" and have no consequences fall on them as a result of attacking in the first place. Exactly how do you justify that position, morally? That any land Israel loses when the Arabs attack should belong to the Arabs but any land Israel wins when the Arabs attack should belong to the Arabs?
