"Kumbaya" is an insulting dismissal. As a result of groups/individuals defining what they are FOR, they can allign about issues and concerns. The isolation of those that have a spiritual discipline is the unnatural position. In real life, a-Zionist orthodox and a-Palestinian nationalist Muslims have a GREAT DEAL in common. A trivial case in point. A couple years ago, my wife went to London to visit her mother. While there she went to a women's only exercise place three times. The people there were half orthodox Jewish women, half Muslim. They actually got along and some went out for kosher lunch.
They may have a great deal in common, but until Muslims can remember that their religion is not a basis for dealing with human beings, we will always be in danger when we deal with them.
