Maybe you’ve heard about the joint venture between Jerusalem Post and NY Post in which ‘certain zip codes’ and subscribers receive a weekly JPost insert in their Sunday NYPost?
[Nope I didn't Hazel, but it's giving me the willies]
As reported to me by a 10024 friend (and excerpted for you with her permission), it appears to be continuous with the Israel branding initiative:
>> The first insert said The Jerusalem Post was a joint publishing venture with the New York Post and inserted into selected zip codes in Manhattan and the Riverdale section of the Bronx. When you open up the first page, it is a full page ad in Hebrew, from Bloomberg, of Bloomberg wishing everyone a Happy New Year.
>> Again, this week, another full page ad from Bloomberg, depicting Bloomberg surrounded by Yeshiva kids saying, "Mike Bloomberg’s Progress Report for our Yeshivas" and paid for by mikebloomberg.com/jewish. And page 22 of this week’s insert has a huge editorial (half page) titled, "In Praise of Bloomberg" saying he has gone "…..far beyond the call of duty to underline his own, and his city’s, solidarity with our country when that solidarity has been needed most" and going on and on about the right wing agenda.
>> I just think it is super inappropriate for a Mayor of a city to be so biased. Is he going to take out full page ads during his other constituents’ holidays, supporting Arab, Christian, Chinese, etc. schools, religions and agendas? He is supposed to be the Mayor for everyone.

Of course he’s he mayor of everyone–everyone who is Jewish.
But its probably anti-Jewish, anti-Zionist, and anti-American to point that out. Isn’t he also blind? then it’s probably, anti-blind, too.
Oh well. Only in America.
Joe Kennedy once lived in Riverdale.
Oy vey, Mayor Blooomberg, that particular strategy didn’t work so well for Mark Green!
