Andrea Whitmore of Citizens for Justice in the Middle East passes along a note she received today from a friend in the occupied village of Jayyous, Palestine. "The man is in his 20s, a college student, responsible and hard working. This sort of thing is, of course, routine. You’d get most of the spelling but just in case I put in parentheses the ones you might find peculiar."
Dear Friends,
This week the Israeli army spend most of the time every day in the village without any reason and they tear gas and sound pump (sound bomb) and make a lot of noisy for the people. Last night at 11:30 in the night I was in my work in the internet café and they come to my internet by badway and start shouting and they shoot sound pump (shoot sound bomb) inside the room and after that they took me from work with four of my friend out side and they put the hand cuff and hide our eyes so we don’t see any thing and they put us in the jeab (Jeep) and they drive us for one hour to another area and they stop there and took photos of each one of us and he say, ‘when I come to the village if any one throw stones of us we will arrest you again’ and they let us leave at 1 in the middle of the night and it was far a way from our village and we don’t have car to go home, and we don’t know where we are. We spend a half of hour waking until we find car took us to my village, Jayyous .

It is absolutely shocking that not everyone wants to ’serve’ in the occupied territories by protecting colonial terrorists! Law proposed to monitor draft dodgers
Winning those hearts and minds for peace!
Witty:
The voice of dissent is not rational; I am against ill activities, such as what they call “occupation, and I am all for peace between two democratic peoples, but come on, now now, guys, this sowing of generalized hatred toward Israel will get us special people nowhere! See how Phil, my boyhood chum, is not taking advantageous of being born in the USA, born in the USA–the home of future pogroms? We must face reality, learned at Auschwitz, and learned before by our people who suffered so much in the diaspora we didn’t know sufficiently–
from the ragman’s son peddling pots n pans to our other guys making bets on old-fashioned armies back in the day when military intelligence was performed by horse cavalries and homing pigeons.”
The only thing missing would be making the Palestinians wear yellow crescents and crosses. Well… I suppose there are some other things missing from down the road, but we’ve already hit the Warsaw goalpost as of last year, so.

The I”D”F has learned the virtue of patience when it comes to eliminating the inconvenient. Hitler was pressed for time.
