It’s a happy day around these parts

We’ve had joyous news at this site, I’ve done all I could to contain myself. A day or so ago,  Adam Horowitz and his partner became the parents of twins. Everyone’s healthy, I gather the parents are deliriously happy, and deliriously tired. Adam’s going to be busy for the next few weeks, but is sure to check in now and then. (Oh and one other thing I’ve observed, friends– email is his last priority right now, so I for one am not seeking updates.)

twins. That’s exciting and maybe difficult for parents.

All the twins “only” seem to look the same, on television you meet the “we feel and love the same’s” but in life I always met two very different persons.

Tip when changing pampers: careful, the fresh air they feel when you open the pamper – is a trigger.

    >Adam’s going to be busy for the next few weeks

That must be a typo – you meant “the next few decades,” right?

    Congrats to all!

    And “Stolat” to the twins!

  18. KatinPhilly says:

Oops. That should be “Sto Lat” – “May you live 100 years” in Polish.

  20. David Samel says:

Congratulations, Adam and family. Enjoy every day. Take it from me – they’re in college before you know it.

  21. Mooser says:

Adam Horowitz “and his partner”? So Adam decided to bring children into the world and not even give them the security of a legal framework for their parent’s relationship?
Or is it a high-minded protest? I mean, they won’t get married until gays can, or something?

Or maybe it was just a mistake in locution, and “wife” is the operative term, but “partner” is hipper. I hope so.

  22. Mooser says:

I mean, c’mon, children out of wedlock? Is that any way for a Jewish boy to act?
But I’m just flying off the handle here. No doubt a date has been set, and we will all be dancing on the blessed day.
