It is an Egyptian revolution, of course. The great people of Egypt made this beautiful peaceful historic revolution. They have overcome.
But we played our part, the people of the world who thrilled with the Egyptians and supported them. By our steadfast attention, our refusal to turn away, our determination to publicize every triumph of the revolution, our pressure on our president, our sleepless attachment to the internet on which the young of Egypt communicated their moods and hopes and dreams — we also played our part.
We answered the beautiful and incredible engaged restraint of the people of Egypt with honor and faith– and our faith actually played a role in the unfolding of events. And so this joy belongs to us too!!!!
