Frum says Palestinian state would have to be ‘carved’ out of Israel

Lately I’ve been pushing the war between American Jews over the settlements. Two years after Michael Walzer called for the defeat of the settler movement, he has gained allies in Peter Beinart and David Remnick. Well, David Frum worked in the White House, pushing the Iraq war (right alongside Remnick and Beinart). He is apparently of the Zionist maximalist school that Israel should have all the land between river and sea, and he still gets a platform to put out the neoconservative idea that Arabs don’t care about Palestine… at the Telegraph:

Libya confronts us, too, with the folly of the traditional “realist” response to Islamic radicalism: the delusion that somehow the carving of a Palestinian state out of Israel will pacify the region. Are the boys of Benghazi fighting for Palestine? How exactly would installing a Palestinian president-for-life in east Jerusalem reconcile Libyans to a second generation of Gaddafis seizing Libya’s oil wealth as their personal fortune?
