Pamela Geller slanders the Utoya victims (elitist anti-Semites, Hitler youth, oh and race-mixers)

Pamela Geller, founder of Atlas Shrugs, delayed a full response to the shootings in Norway (by her own admission). Her ideological associates, in the meantime, had been issuing statements condemning the violence - as well as the victims' politics. And now, Atlas Shrugs has finally joined this argument: this past Sunday, Geller published an analysis of the victims titled "Summer Camp? Antisemitic Indoctrination Training Center":

But the jihad-loving media never told us what antisemitic war games they were playing on that island. Utoya Island is a Communist/Socialist campground, and they clearly had a pro-Islamic agenda.

Only the malevolent media could use the euphemism summer camp and get away with it.

The slaughter was horrific. What these kids were being taught and instructed to do was a different kind of grotesque. There is no justification for Breivik's actions whatsoever. There is also no justification for Norway's antisemitism and demonization of Israel.

Even Geller knows these statement will be construed by the "Genocidal Leftists" as an endorsement of violence, but insists that it necessary to put the shootings in a larger context - the context of the global struggle against Islam:

. . . . Utoya camp was not Islamist but it WAS something not much more wholesome (by our standards, at any rate).

It was a summer indoctrination camp run by Norway’s ruling Labor Party for up-and-coming children of the ruling elite.

Glen Beck [sic] was not far off when he compared it to the Hitlerjugend or Young Pioneers."

Think Progress caught on to the fact that an earlier version of this post referred to "race mixing" among the Norwegian youth at the camp. Specifically, a now-removed picture caption read "Note the faces which are more MIddle Eastern [sic] or mixed than pure Norwegian." Even some favorable commenters on the post called Ms. Geller out on this caption. Perhaps the intent of this statement was to demonstrate that there were Muslims present at the summer camp and that their presence was (of course) related to the youth organization's "anti-Semitic" and "pro-Palestinian" agenda?

The statement was probably removed, though, because it could be taken to suggest that a non-Caucasian life (especially one mixed in with Muslim blood) is somehow "worth less" than a non-Caucasian (or part-Caucasian) one. While Geller did not  come out and say that, the notion is far from the fringes of respectability in "journalistic" debate.

Geller also approvingly quotes an argument for moral relativism vis a vis Palestinians and Israelis in relation to the shootings:

"For them it is unacceptable for Breivik to murder Norwegian children, because his ideology is wrong. But it is acceptable for Palestinians to murder Israeli children, because their ideology is right."

Given the intensely pro-Zionist feelings among the anti-Islamic right, it is sadly inevitable that the Israeli-Palestinian conflict would be used to "contextualize" a terorrist attack on "socialist" "pro-Islamic" "aristocrats" (all terms she uses to describe the camp attendees). The spleen is practically audible.

Is the anti-Islamic right suggesting that the Islamocommunist children of Norway's ruling party were asking for trouble by engaging in behavior such as displaying signs that say "Opphev Blokkaden Av Gaza" (Oppose the Blockade of Gaza) and signing onto the BDS Movement? Geller and her cohorts suggested, soon after the identity of the shooter became known, that "If anyone incited him to violence, it was Islamic supremacists. If anything incited him to violence, it was the Euro-Med policy."

Such statements now even more eerily echo Breivik's own manifesto in that he lumped together his specific targets with the larger anti-Semitic Islamocommunist alliance that, according to the anti-Islamic right, holds Norway (and the EU in general) in its grip. Such sentiments have long been present in the discourse, but to hear such assertions articulated more forcefully now after what has happened is even more disturbing. "We are witnesssing the complete breakdown of rational society," Geller opined in response to hate mail she has recieved since the attacks.

Geller has no idea how right she is!

So she seems to endorse the violence, putting the shootings into her context, while bemoaning that her endorsement will be seen as such? I don’t wish to visit her ugly mad mess of a site, but does she at any point condemn Breivik for his deeds (tho obviously she thoroughtly endorses his beliefs)? Or is he perhaps a martyr driven to do what he did in her obnoxious world view?

  2. Scary times. That such a woman commands such a huge RW audience is terrifying. I even heard her interviewed lovingly by one of our local radio talk show hosts, a man whose ignorance knows no bounds. His adherence to zionist and RW talking points is so blatantly scripted that he is unable to stray even an iota off script without betraying himself as completely and utterly unknowledgable about even basic and uncontested facts concerning Isr/Pal.

But more terrifying than his own ignorance is the scope of his listenership. He is tremendously popular, with a huge audience up and down Central California. So just imagine, Geller’s ignorance compounding his ignorance, compounding the ignorance of his listeners, compounding the ignorance of his listener’s associates, families, and friends.

A tsunami of ignorance, originating in the sad brain of a sick and deranged religious fanatic and bigot. Pretty scary stuff.

Get ready for this lady to become a mega star…..people in the US are about to be waaaaaay worse off than they are now (which is pretty bad) economically (Thanks Barry) – her popularity is only going to rise, because she (along with her cohorts) give people answers to their problems (they are horrible and incorrect answers, but answers nonetheless). What we are witnessing now in the US is the march to full-fledged fascism. Brought to us by, in no small measure, disparate groups of jewish folks. WOW. Unreal……geller just wants to make sure her group doesnt face the wrath of the mob…..

    • I work in the trades, as a high end finish carpenter. Employed by a custom home builder out of Bakersfield, who has plied his wares in the area since 1974. Our clientele consists mostly of huge oil and agriculture money, many third and fourth generation Central California landowners. Mostly conservative, Republican, and obscenely wealthy.

One would think that these people, intelligent, successful, monied, would have a well rounded world view shaped from a myriad of exposures, experiences, and media sources. Not so. I am constantly amazed at the narrow scope of sourcing from which these people form their political opinions, ideologies, and beliefs. Fox is the major contributer, and the RW narrative is almost sure to monopolize and bulldoze any political conversation you are foolhardy enough to engage in with them.

Worse still, are the jobsites, particularly in the rougher aspects of the building trades. Radios blaring out the “wisdom” of Sean Hannity, Rush Limbaugh, Michael Weiner (AKA Savage), Ann Coulter, Laura Ingram. The framers we use, a team of brother’s, are the best in the business. But their ENTIRE scope of knowledge about politics and world events is shaped by the narrative of Fox News and Rush Limbaugh. They do not say “according to Fox News” or “according to Rush limbaugh”. They say “Did you know that….”. It is GOSPEL to them. If it is uttered by Fox or Limbaugh, it is THE TRUTH.

You’re right, Dan. The “Fourth Estate” is but a distant memory. BOTH sides of the aisle have so corrupted the media that “truth” has become so elusive that it is almost impossible to capture. The manner in which we receive our “news” now is DESIGNED to divide us along partisan lines, effectively rendering us impotent to counter the back room deals and universally traitorous machinations of the two political parties. Behind the curtains they are arm in arm in protecting corporate, religious, and political special interests. In controlling the narrative, they control the people, Who was it in the criminal Bush cartel that said “we create reality”???

“What we are witnessing now in the US is the march to full-fledged fascism”

      Indeed.

      • Dan Crowther says:

        pissedoff,

Karl Rove was supposedly the guy who said that to Suskind,

“That’s not the way the world really works anymore,” he continued. “We’re an empire now, and when we act, we create our own reality. And while you’re studying that reality—judiciously, as you will—we’ll act again, creating other new realities, which you can study too, and that’s how things will sort out. We’re history’s actors…and you, all of you, will be left to just study what we do.”

My father worked for Conrail (which became CSX) and was always SHOCKED by his union brothers’ views. A bunch of unionized right wingers, who apparently longed for the days of this:

        link to lawyersgunsmoneyblog.com

And for those who say “fascism” is a little overblown, heres this:
(hat tip to ballon juice the blog)

(3a) A philosophy or system of government that is marked by stringent social and economic control, a strong, centralized government usually headed by a dictator, and often a policy of belligerent nationalism. Oh sorry, that’s the dictionary definition of Fascism.
(3b) Form of political behavior marked by obsessive preoccupation with community decline, humiliation or victimhood and by compensatory cults of unity, energy and purity, in which a mass-based party of committed nationalist militants, working in uneasy but effective collaboration with traditional elites, abandons democratic liberties and pursues with redemptive violence and without ethical or legal restraints goals of internal cleansing and external expansion. No, wait, that’s Robert O. Paxson’s definition of fascism.

It would seem like 3(b) is already here……..

        • Actually, Dan, the term “fascism” has applied for some time now.

When the criminal and feckless sock puppet Bush (ignorant, malleable, and carefully managed) instituted “free speech zones”, I was amazed we weren’t rioting in the streets.

But truth be told, “he” was able to institute such a policy with nary a peep of dissent from the “Fourth Estate” and the properly cowed populace, silenced by the prefabricated and fantastic spectre of a nasty heathen Bin Laden, arming a disciple with a suitcase nuke and laying waste to New York or Los Angeles.

“Fascism”, today, is not the cry of a conspiracy theorist. Instead, it is the observation of a realist, who has applied a dose of investigation to his daily regimen of careful observation, and used logic and common sense to blend the two practices into a sensible conclusion.

(Thats a really complicated way of saying “If it waddles like a duck, quacks like a duck…..” )

        • Dan Crowther says:

          Pissedoff,

          Its definitely waddling……

Its funny that American Fascism will begin in earnest under the flag of “Bi-partisanship” haha, isnt that something? Something I never understood about “centrists” – what they are really advocating is for one party rule, or rule by fiat. We in America will “find the center” – and it will be an overtly fascist enterprise…

        • Bumblebye says:

I think it goes back a little further. I recall Bush 1st declaring his ” New World Order” after the first Gulf War (Dad’s last – at 60! – seen off at the docks by his Mum). On the eve (thereabouts) of Junior’s selection, he defined it: “The business of government is Business”. So all those x’s in the box, the hanging chads, the disappearing Diebold votes mean very little. Political space has been privatised (or is that pirate-ized?).

  4. One hopes that this gorgon-like haridan, exposed as the brain-addled fraud she is, returns to the obscurity she so richly deserves. Or at least to the pursuit of much badly-needed cosmetic surgery. Remember how quickly Steven Emerson’s star dimmed when he incorrectly, but oh so unsurprisingly, called the Oklahoma City bombing the work of Islamic militants? If Allah or any other imaginary playmate is just, that will be Geller’s much-deserved fate.

She can go back to demoralizing US troops in Iraq and Afghanistan by sending them pictures of herself voguing and frolicking and generally turning heads [in the opposite direction, and stomachs] in a bikini. Talk about “material support for” and “rendering aid and comfort” to the enemy.

She’s a living, breathing, walking, talking WMD – weapon of massive disgust.

Pam Geller. Schadenfreude sh*t stirrer. She’s damaged goods.

She’ll be happy to know that the dreaded ground zero mosque is proceeding with fundraising efforts. When Foxman opposed this Mosque it really
showed us that the ADL only applies to certain minorities.

Geller: “I have no problem with Islam. I have a problem with political Islam”

  6. Charon says:

Keep an eye on Pamela Geller. Her name is going to come up during the course of this Norway investigation and the search for other ‘cells’

I have little doubt she is a member of the very same ‘group’ that funded, trained, and helped carry out these attacks. She has blood on her hands, just you wait and see.

We are most certainly seeing the breakdown of rational society and we can’t let that happen. Only sane people are rational and all of this insanity is driving us nuts. Rationality doesn’t have immoral ideological limitations. Rationality doesn’t take scripture at face value. Rationality does not go around fear mongering and promoting violence among trivial things like race and religion.

This is the fourth time I’ve seen “war games” mentioned being carried out on the island. I guess my her logic all those model UN groups are playing war games. From what I read in the comments section of jpost and haaretz though, this is being misinterpreted as ARMED HAMAS MILITARY war games. Seriously, they’re saying Hamas. Never mind the fact if they were armed this whole thing would’ve ended quicker and also never mind that cops in Norway are often unarmed. This is how dangerous propaganda is born, the stuff Israel’s history is based upon.

    • Kathleen says:

They would not give this guy a public hearing. They will not allow who fueled his hatred to become public

    • lysias says:

Mightn’t the “war games” be the mock running of the Gaza blockade that the youngsters at this camp mounted? Photographs of that mock blockade running appeared in the media right after the murders. It was reported that the mock running had just happened, although I believe it later turned out it was done at the camp last year.

In Oslo after the bomb and massacre there was planned a silent parade of people walking in the streets carrying red roses.

It could not be held. The streets were to full of people with red roses.

When we have a world were people support Breivik’s wiews “but not his actions”, maybe a parade with white roses would be a better choice?

Geller seems to prescribe to that wackadoodle Rabbi’s book that says it’s okay to kill goyem – anytime, anywhere … even if they’re babies because, hey, they might grow up to become a threat to jews one day!

So by this logic does a Norwegian right-wingnut wacko kill a bunch of kids – because they might one day become a threat to his precious zionist warriors

Interesting is how kids and young adults often are not fully formed – physically or mentally … they grow into their viewpoints and some of these murdered kids would no doubt have gone on to become conservative bankers and businesspeople and politicos with decidedly conservative – maybe even pro-zionist points-of-view had they lived and evolved in their own way

but – just to be safe – better to murder all goyem now lest they become a threat in the future

  10. lysias says:

Geller’s rival Debbie Schlussel has also been celebrating the slaughter on Utoya island:

Karma?: Norway Camp Breivik Shot Up Celebrated HAMAS, Jew-Hatred:

Frankly, the HAMAS charter and HAMAS’ behavior, all of which these kids at the Norwegian HAMAS youth camp cheered on, is a lot more scary than the screed and deeds of Breivik.

My late grandfather, a Holocaust survivor, never shed a tear for dead Nazis. My late father, a Vietnam era Army veteran, never shed a tear for those who supported the killing of Americans and Jews. And I shed no tears for these HAMASnik campers with a Scandinavian dialect. Perpetrators are not victims. Sorry. HAMAS collaborators don’t get my pity. They never will.

Karma #2: Norway Utoya Camp Was Also FATAH PLO Terrorist Camp:

So, I’m supposed to shed tears for this camp that welcomes the killers of the Fogel Family? Uh, I don’t think so.

As I wrote yesterday, while I condemn terrorism including Breivik’s actions, this is Alien v. Predator for me. I don’t feel sorry in the least for those who die while cheering on my destruction. That’s what those shot at this camp did. I shed no tears for them. I don’t give even the feakest wuck about “people” who welcome Fatah Youth murderers to toast marshmallows with them and ride in canoes while they share in their Jew-hatred.

Karma is a bitch . . . especially for Jew-haters who were Fatah’s bitch. You hang out with snakes, you get bitten.

Damn, Gellar does not hold a candle to the crazy, that is Debbie Schlussel.

  11. GringoDingo says:

Mind you, this is the same Pam Geller who believes the English Defense League to be a fine group of people who strongly support Israel. They must be, EDL’s leader ‘Tommy Robinson’ said so himself on a statement she published on her site’. (1)

Never mind that ‘Tommy Robinson’ (real name Stephen Yaxley-Lennon) is a British football hooligan who recently served 12 months in prison for assaulting an off-duty police officer, not to mention his long list of other convictions (2). Never mind the hard fact that the EDL is almost entirely made-up of neo-nazis and dumb hooligan scum who could not even locate England on a map, let alone Israel. Tattooing their fat bodies with swastikas and similar nazi symbols years ago really does not help much now if they want to maintain that ‘We really support Israel, you know’. (3)

And then there is Roberta Moore of EDL’s recently created “Jewish Division” whom Pam says she “most trusted within the EDL” (4) . Moore’s decision to align her group and thus the EDL with the Jewish Task Force (JTF) of known and convicted terrorist Victor Vancier aka Chaim Ben Pesach (a person who is so radical, he has even been banned from entering Israel), did not go down well with the EDL membership, not because of the Jewish aspect but because of the terrorist past of the JTF. (5) (6) I’ll repeat that: the EDL neo-nazis do not want their racist, Islamophobic little group to team up with a convicted terrorist. (7)

But it gets worse: Roberta Moore has now left the EDL Jewish Division because of the neo-nazis and the division is now in the hands of Robert Bartholomeus, a non Jewish Dutchman member of the JTF with an admiration (to put it mildly) for Dutch politician and populist Geert Wilders (8). He regularly shows up (both in the UK as in the Netherlands) at far-right meetings and is easily recognizable by his JTF sportjacket which he “made to provoke muslims”. (9) Do a Google image search on Geert Akbar (text of a sign he usually brings) and you’ll see this looney.

Late June, both Roberta Moore as Robert Bartholomeus were about to meet with Pamela Geller at SIOA’s organized rally in Strasbourg, France, were it not for the fact that Antifa (anti-fascists) threatened to hold a counter-rally after which the French authorities withdrew SIOA’s rally authorization. Fact is that both EDL Jewish Division leaders did travel to Strasbourg, as evidenced by Robert’s photo album on Facebook and marvelously captured by UK’s ‘Everythingedl’ (10).

I would not be surprised at all if Pam Geller and her nutcase Robert Spencer would have had and still have a more active role in the latest shaping of the EDL, particularly its Jewish Division and it’s recent stance against neo-fascists within their ranks.

While I don’t think Geller can be held “responsible” in any meaningful way for what that nutball did, her reaction here precisely parallels something I’ve seen before when the subject comes up of the horrors carried out by the Bolsheviks, including even the Holomodor, and the greatly disproportionate number of jews involved in perpetrating same: “Well, ” the reaction goes that I’ve seen any number of times, “those russian and slavic peasants were anti-semitic to the bone, so…”

Not that this is anything exclusive to politicized jewry, but just shows how ideology can blind even to the worst of things.

  15. Debonnaire says:

The Bug (Schlussel) and Leatherface (Geller) compete to grab attention. The Bug thinks Heil Hannity! is too soft on “the ragheads”, and coming up in the rear is Fatso (Meryl Yourish) who has stepped up her “Nuke Iran, Syria, Egypt, and Turkey” yelps because she’s envious of the attention Leatherface receives. All three of these little Hitlers are envious of Sweets (Caroline Glick) and they often take shots at her for being too mushy. Getting these four distaff schmendricks together on a new reality show called “Ziorama” would really be ideal.
