“As you know, I don’t think it’s a secret I am Jewish,” Kagan said. “The State of Israel has meant a lot to me and my family. And — and I admire Justice Barak for what he’s done for the State of Israel and ensuring an independent judiciary.”
She has a conventional mind. And the convention is: PEP. Progressive except Palestine. Makes for success.

Not surprised by Kagan. I was very much against her appointment, she is a ‘ethnic worshiper”. If you read her many speeches thruout her career it is very obvious she believes in the superiority of certain groups.
Kagan and others like her are the downside to ‘diversity’. It puts ethnic agendas, not impartial objectivity, into seats of power they shouldn’t be in.
Almost everytime I see anyone appointed to any position these days I think ‘political payoff’ to some special interest donor group.

Did the New York Times Lead Anthony Shadid to His Death?

“Dr. Shadid pointed out, “There is an inherent inequality of bargaining power between journalists and their editors. Commitment and a history of bravery can be exploited by editors and management, who are under their own pressure to meet production goals and achieve awards.”
During his speech at the annual American-Arab Anti-Discrimination Committee Convention in Washington DC and in interviews afterward, Anthony’s cousin gave new details about the incident, some of them differing significantly from the story given by the New York Times.
Dr. Shadid, who is a medical doctor and city councilman in Oklahoma City, revealed that a security advisor working for the Times had originally analyzed the newspaper’s plan for getting Anthony into Syria. The advisor determined it was too dangerous, and forbade him from going. Yet, six weeks later, after CNN had gained access, Times editors sent Anthony into the area, even though the security situation had grown worse in that time.
Anthony’s colleagues expressed surprise that his editors insisted he enter Syria, Dr. Shadid said, because Anthony had appeared on Syrian television and was a “wanted man.”
The night before Anthony left for the area, he spoke to Times editors over the phone in a conversation that included “screaming and slamming down the phone,” his cousin related.
When Anthony objected to the planned operation and the physical demands of the journey, Times foreign editor Joseph Kahn flippantly responded from his desk in New York, “It sounds like you’re going to get a lot of exercise on this assignment.” Anthony’s request for camping equipment for the trip was turned down
Upon his arrival in Turkey, his departure point for illegally entering Syria, the Times plan immediately began to break down. Motorcycles had been planned for travel; they weren’t there. Smugglers that the Times had arranged to take Anthony and a photographer into Syria were also, it turned out, going to be smuggling in crates of ammunition.
At this point, Dr. Shadid said, Anthony called his wife and “gave his last haunting directive: ‘If anything happens to me, I want the world to know the New York Times killed me.’”

American Jews know that if they are caught with their hand in the proverbial cookie jar, they are bound to face some kind of backslash from Christian compatriots, you know, people who actually care more about America than do the Israel-is-part-of-my-soul-because-I-was-born-Jewish crowd.
So the Shared Values and Shared Interests routine is an easy out for them, as in Oh, you’ve caught me. Well, actually, I can explain. You see, I’ve been doing all this hard work for a noble cause in which I believe and it has nothing to do in particular with Israel or the U.S.. It’s just a pure coincidence that the U.S. and Israel have soooo much in common. So, whenever you see me working, it may appear as though I am concerned first and foremost for that foreign country, but in reality, because there is a lot of overlap between the two countries’ values, it merely looks that way. It’s very complex and I’m sure you find it all confusing. Better not worry your precious mind about it. .
Who knows, perhaps — and I won’t say “American Jews” here because it’s oh too harsh to point out the sad reality — one day when Zionist Americans cause the collapse of the U.S. they will find themselves having to escape to Israel, their safe haven, their emergency shelter.

It’s impossible to believe that someone with her level of education is uninformed about Israel’s behavior, and she has nothing to gain professionally by going there since she’s appointed for life to SCOTUS, so one must come to the conclusion that she supports Israel’s actions.
