I spoke to a friend last night and asked him if things were changing. He considered that for a while, then said, "Well here is some progress. A month ago Rashid Khalidi was abandoned. Obama could not stand up for him. This week Rahm Emanuel apologizes for his father's comments about Arabs. Maybe that is real progress. It could not have happened a month ago."
