I heard a Catholic defender the other day trying out the line in my headline–other institutions are just as bad. Who cares. Maureen Dowd blows away RC institutional spin about the child-abuse crisis. I know, Catholicism is not in "existential" crisis, it has numbers, but could the Zionists demonstrate one iota of this intellectual honesty? Rather than smearing Goldstone?
