Intolerant Middle Eastern religious group forces men to cover themselves

American men wear shorts. The right to bare our legs is not just part of our unbridled way of life, it is a symbol of the other democratic freedoms we cherish: freedom of expression and thought and of the individual pursuit of happiness. Well at the Church of the Nativity in Bethlehem, in occupied Palestine, men are routinely forced to cover their legs before they can enter the church. Here are two of the four or five I saw the other day being forced to drape. Just imagine if this practice spreads to the United States– where there are millions of practicing Christians who venerate this church as the alleged birthplace of Jesus.
