Lieberman thinks outside the box, and his ideas certainly aren’t mainstream when it comes to how to deal with the Israeli-Arab conflict. However, that isn’t necessarily a bad thing. Various administrations, both liberal and conservative, have tried to solve the Israeli-Arab conflict, but to no avail. With this in mind, why is everyone so hesitant to listen to a new perspective?
….Lieberman says what he means, and while not everyone likes it, one must appreciate his honesty….
If a loyalty requirement applies to everyone, both Jew and non-Jew, then it is hard to sustain the accusation that Lieberman is being racist. It is easier to view his position as encouraging patriotism to the State of Israel.
One thing is for sure: Whether people love him or hate him, Avigdor Lieberman has a mark to make. With his determination and convictions, it is clear that he will do all that he can to live up to his beliefs.
