From the Facebook photo album “Extremist attack Muslim and Christian cemeteries in Jaffa”:

Images of assault by the Zionist extremists on the Islamic cemetery named “Al-kazachana”, and they also made a assault on the Christian Orthodox cemetery adjacent to it.

They left racist statements such as “Death to Arabs” and “Price Tag” on the graves and walls in addition to Smashing and vandalizing a number of gravestones.

While Haaretz opens its report on the desecration of Muslim and Christian graves in Jaffa with Prez Peres’s denouncement Yossi Gurvitz over @+972 hits all the right notes: “So what can be done? We can begin by closing down the hornet’s nest, the yeshiva in Yitzhar, and ban all its teachers and students from the West Bank.”

The fact that they boil over the Green Line is not accidental. These people, after all, are the disciples of Baruch Goldstein; if they had broader horizons, they could name Abu Musab Al Zarqawi as another mentor. Their whole purpose is ending this calmness. They want blood, fire and columns of smoke. When these will appear, they will lean back and say “we told you so.” Another point worth noting is the desecration of the Christian cemetery: Contrary to the myths, it proves that the hatred of mankind of Orthodox Judaism has little if anything to do with the current conflict with the Palestinians. It is the last in a long, under-reported attacks on Christian establishments in Israel.

One further wonders whether this escalation – how many more steps to the gates of hell? – is not a response, among others, to the arrest of a suspect in the burning of the mosque in Tuba Zangaria. Terror organizations often react in this way to the arrest of their members, and the whole logic of the “price tag” pogroms is to punish Palestinians for the actions of the security forces.

The guilt resides, as Tibi noted correctly, with the government of Israel. PM Netanyahu may denounce these pogroms, but he is speaking out of both sides of his mouth: He had no problem whatsoever sitting on the same platform with Dov Lior, possibly the worst of the inciting rabbis. Shmuel Elihau, the municipal rabbi of Safed, keeps drawing his government salary despite publishing illegal calls for denying apartments to Israeli Palestinians. This is the same Eliahu who openly and clearly refused to denounce the “price tag” pogroms. He is still in office. Chief Rabbi Shlomo Amar – the one suspected of kidnapping and assault, not the one suspected of receiving bribes and inappropriately touching men – said this week that the burning of the mosque in Tuba Zangria “may have been a blood libel.” (Hebrew) It’s easy to imagine the uproar had, say, a Polish bishop said he opposed the burning of synagogues, but we should first ascertain this isn’t a blood libel against good Christians. Amar keeps his job as if nothing happened; we didn’t even had a proper public outcry. In short, the government of Israel looks, when trying to fight Jewish terrorism, like the Saudi government of a decade ago, facing the Salafist terrorists: It is a main source of funds to the terrorists, and they can only exist because the government’s armed forces support them.

The West Bank pogromchiks has made a mockery of the IDF’s legal obligation to protect the indigent population from them. Now they are trying to make it plain to Israeli Palestinians that they, too, will not be protected by the Zionist regime – and the latter know it’s not that the regime can’t, it’s that it won’t.

Read the entire article. Gurvitz is Tweeting (Hebrew) from a protest going on in Jaffa right now. “More than a hundred people, in my estimation.”

Here are some of Gurvitz’s photos from the Jaffa protest of the “price tag” attacks on their Muslim and Christian cemeteries.

MY COMMENT: I’m beginning to call them the “rabid rabbis” of the West Bank (or Judea), because they remind me of the “mad mullahs” of Iran. They also remind me of the “rabid reverends” (like John Hagee) of Christians United for Israel (CUFI).

Problem with rabid reverends you already used rabid with the rabbis. I like mad mullahs and rabid rabbis we need something for the Christian equivalent.

How about ‘crazed clergy’ or ‘demented domine’ — maybe the later won’t work given the loss of Latin in Western ed.

I would go for the Revolting Reverends, Feckless Fathers, or Pompous Padres. I’m sure there’s many more. :)

MY REPLY: Yes, I did give it the old “college try”, but I just could not come up with something on a par with “mad mullahs” and “rabid rabbis”. And despite whatever PWE* I might still possess, I was feeling a bit lazy. Actually, I was feeling far more than a bit lazy. And I’m also having a problem with Google Chrome. Something to do with Java script, and using a 32 bit browser with a 64 bit operating system, I think. But why now, all of a sudden?
At any rate, Karl Dubhe, Shmuel and you have “filled in the breech” with some superb suggestions.
John Hagee seems to fashion himself as a “pastor” so “pathological pastors” would seem quite apt. But then, I do like “crazed clerics”, “demented disciples”, “putrid preachers” and “wretched, revolting reverends” (a three-pointer, as alliteration goes). Not to mention “hubristic hucksters”.
I wonder if I can get Frank Luntz to ‘focus group’ this for me.
        * PWE = Protestant work ethic (a/k/a Puritan work ethic)

P.S. “Demented domine” definitely has possibilities.
        Domine Meaning and Definition
(n.) A name given to a pastor of the Reformed Church. The word is also applied locally in the United States, in colloquial speech, to any clergyman.
(n.) A West Indian fish (Epinula magistralis), of the family Trichiuridae. It is a long-bodied, voracious fish.
        (n.) A clergyman.

        P.P.P.S. “wretched, revolting, revulsive reverends”
I’m on a roll, y’all!!! Move it on over, Frank Luntz!

P.P.P.P.S. AS TO MY DEMENTED AVATAR/ICON: Raymond Davis definitely does not have Bette Davis eyes! They strike me more as the eyes of a sociopath (perhaps even a psychopath).

RE: “The fact that they boil over the Green Line is not
    accidental.” ~ Yossi Gurvitz

(excerpts) The 2009 Tel Aviv gay centre shooting resulted in the deaths of two people and injuries to at least fifteen others at the Tel Aviv branch of the Israeli GLBT Association…
As of May 2011, the crime remains unsolved
…On the evening of August 1 [2009] at around 23:00, an unknown person with firearms entered the “Aguda” building in Tel Aviv, and opened fire on the crowd attending an Israeli Gay Youth (IGY) event, and immediately escaped thereafter. Two people were killed, and fifteen were wounded. The police had launched a search campaign to find the shooter, and in addition immediately closed most of the entertainment places for the gay community that operated during the same time of the shooting event, for fear of additional shooting.
The gunman entered the building where a weekly event was being held (in the basement), shot in several directions and then fled on foot.[2][5][6] The building was frequented by gay teenagers who engage in social activities and listen to music.[6][11] The centre was small with one terrace; thus preventing anyone from escaping.[6] They instead hid under a bed and tables as shots were fired.[6][11] Israeli television said the crime scene was a “bloodbath”.[7]…
…The shooter was masked, dressed in black and used a pistol to carry out his attack.[2][5][8][11][12] It is not believed his motive was related to nationalist terror but the exact motive is currently unclear.[2] The city’s gay community stated the killer had a homophobic motive while police have cautioned people that the attack may not have been a hate crime and that the motive remains unknown…

What a miserable bunch of bred criminals them euro zionist settlers are.

Not only are they unspiritualizable, barbaric and violent, but they’re dumb as a shitbrick to create more hatred of israel from both the moslem AND the christian world.

What severe punishment Natanyahu refuses to assign them, no doubt the Lebanese hizb, especially their christian branch, will deal them sooner than later.

Boy do I look forward to that day. And I’m sure MILLIONS of people of all religious persuasions feel the same.

Tick tock tick tock…. you can bet yer farm it’s gonna happen.

To understand the level of hate demonstrated in this act; I imagined how I’d feel if my father’s resting place were defiled in this manner. At first sight I would be gripped by horror that such evil could touch me and and those I love, and then I would feel the memory of him and the deep pain of his passing, violated.

Thanks for covering this, and many thanks to the brave people protesting these actions right now.

It’s sad that incidents like this are only known to a few people like us who care enough, but whenever a Jewish grave is desecrated, it’s front-page news in many Western news outlets. Ask the average Western citizen, he knows that Jewish graves get attacked from time to time. (And he should know it). But he won’t know about the desecration of Christian and Muslim graves by Jewish Israelis.

There should be equal reporting on all kinds of desecrations, and all desecrators should be painted as the racist terrorists they are!

    • AhVee
      October 9, 2011, 7:22 am

The fact that this is happening is sad enough, without Western media outlets being too busy gracing the Zionist lobby’s rear end with their lips to write about these things.

Ironically it’s just that which makes the zio fundamentalists feel like they’re in God-mode, they just know the Western media is going to turn a blind eye, it’s almost a reaffirmation, for Christ’s sake. If scandals like these got equal reporting to deeds of similar gravity committed by others, some of them might just think twice about their senseless violence because just maybe, their reputation abroad – notably in the States – matters a little to them.

Somebody needs to pass the West the memo that you can’t have the cake and eat it too, can’t essentially do everything to make sure they have impunity and then turn around and lecture them for acting accordingly. They’re like a child, probing how far they can go before mother West converts her half-hearted tsk tsk’s into actual actions. They’ve been shown enough times in the past that words can be ignored, and rewards come regardless / sanctions that actually affect them never follow. Show them something else, and these things might be preventable in the future.

And not a peep from the mainstream media on this incident and the torching of mosques across the West Bank. Which begs the question: Why is Israel immune to all criticism and negative press in the media?

This is a question that is worthy of serious investigation because it may help to rid Congress of Zionist influence and bias once and for all. The truth is silenced in America.

America is led by the nose to please Israeli-American citizens never mind the will of American citizens.
