Gosh, but American support for the settlement project never ends…. Yahoo’s Lookout reports on a NY state criminal investigation (thanks to Voskamp):
Court documents filed in a legal battle over the $400 million estate of Huguette Clark shed light on how the reclusive and eccentric mining heiress–who died in May at 104 after spending the last 22 years of her life in a hospital–spent her fortune. ..
Since 1996, $170 million–or $1 million a month–was spent from Clark’s personal account or from an account controlled by her lawyer and accountant, who held legal power of attorney during that period. Both the attorney, Wallace Bock, and the accountant, Irving Kamsler, are reportedly being investigated by law enforcement for their handling of the fortune.
…A charity that built a controversial security system for Jewish settlers in the West Bank received $1.85 million in donations. Bock’s daughter lives in the settlement protected by the system.

In 2008, Kamsler pleaded guilty after being arrested for engaging in sexual Web chats with detectives whom he believed were girls as young as 13 and sending porn to one of them. He was sentenced to probation.
MSNBC.com, which broke the story about her odd life, reported that Bock has over the years turned away Clark’s relatives who have sought to visit her.
It also reported that Bock and Kamsler ended up owning a Manhattan co-op signed over to them by another elderly client, the late Donald Wallace, who previously was Clark’s attorney.

And I thought everybody in Israel had a wonderful bomb shelter, supplied without favoritism by the GOI. Isn’t that what one of the trolls told me?
Cleary the lawyer and accouant preyed on this woman. ..and had done it before to another rich recluses.
Sad case…hope they can be prosecuted.
What gets me is her family had petitioned a Judge long ago to have some reputable law firm of the courts chosing oversee her assest and for a bank to administer her bills and etc..the Judge refused.
The nurse that got a lot money could tell the real tale about what went on and the deal between Clark and her estranged family but she won’t because it would impact on her own inheritance from Clark.

amazing. obvious elder abuse, because as we get older, we all succumb to loss of mental function. there is no excuse here. people who are trained to assist the elderly are told in no uncertain terms that you do not accept even unsolicited gifts. even the lowliest nursing assistants know this, as it is part of CNA licensing training. her nurse should have protected her patient’s interests.
the other thing, it’s an obvious hate crime. here they have a vulnerable goy and they bled her dry.
Garcia’s comments here are interesting. maybe they just forged it all.
