Haaretz reports on an attack on Peace Now’s headquarters, the latest in a series of threatening vandalisms. (Thanks to Paul Mutter)
Anonymous attackers spray-painted “price tag” and threatened to plant a bomb in the Jerusalem offices of “Peace Now” on Sunday.
Hagit Ofran, director of Peace Now’s Settlement Watch project, said that at around 8 P.M., the office intercom buzzed and a man’s voice said, “The building will explode in five minutes.”
Peace Now is more or less irrelevant. They had their moment and they blew it. Now the Russians run the show.
I guess this is payback! After all, hophmi accused Peace Now and Phil of (shocker) antisemitism!
Hope they video-taped this. Having DemocracyNow pundit on the boat should make for some good reports after he (somehow) returns to the US.
Some of the prisoners taking by IOF pirates are also rejecting to sign the silly release forms.
The word choice in the Hebrew report in Haaretz hints that the offices are in a residential building, and that the attack constitutes a threat on people residing there.
And, as was suggested on Twitter, it seems highly unlikely that the same police force that attacked activists in Anatot would give any kind of serious energy to investigating this sort of thing. After all, no one was hurt…
Jewish terrorism is manifestly not confined to the history books. The more they attack other Israelis, the sooner and more widely this will be understood. However, will it result in any action to stem it?
