Phil, please cover what was left out of the US mainstream press, i.e., outspoken Iran lame duck leader meeting with the Torah Jews in NYC. Torah Jews want America to know there’s actually a big difference between Jews and Zionists. The meeting was not covered by US MSM, who, we gather, don’t want Dick and Jane to know there’s a difference between Jews and Zionists (Jewish or Christian). Onion should take that issue up too. It would be difficult since Zionism is never mentioned in US mainstream media and Dick and Jane have no clue what it is, although they think they have a handle on socialism, fascism, neofacism, Islamofacism, etc.

It’s probably not mentioned because that would lead lazily but inexorably to the realization that the Jews aren’t from Palestine.
The unexamined assumption is inserted that the modern state of Israel has somehow always been there, that its poor, innocent (white, reasonable, well-washed) inhabitants are under attack by a lot of irrational crazies who probably engage in unspeakable acts with their sheep and molest their own children — both boys and girls.
One has to realize how this works. It’s like selling deodorant. Of course, if the viewer thinks about it, he’ll realize that buying a can of ‘Arid’ isn’t going to make him lose twenty years and fifty pounds — but the point is that he won’t think about it.
Of course, the difference is that something significantly more evil than the purchase of a four dollar aerosol can is being put over here…
I think I read earlier today that the Onion piece got picked up by Iranian media before noticing it to be satire.

It’s a military message to Netanyahu and anyone who doubts where the US military is on the issue of bombing Iran. Netanyahu, and consequently Israel, has lost all favor with our military brass. It’s gone. Israel could fall off the map for its shenanigans for all it cared.
N’s considered a gigantic liability to the security of the US. If you have no time, read the last three grafs. The entire thing bears reading, especially the disdain leveled at Israeli presumption. If you know how to read between lines, this is one article to note.
