Petition to Hillary assails ‘right wing Democrats’ who take ‘warmonger AIPAC’ cash

Hillary Clinton

Another public assault on the Israel lobby. Just Foreign Policy, partnered with Moveon.org, is running a petition to ask Hillary Clinton to support the Iran deal. She’s been lamentably silent. But she was outfront on bombing Syria. Notice that the petition states that many Democrats are not getting behind Obama, because they want the cash of “warmonger interest groups like AIPAC.” If Hillary would come out for the deal, she would undermine the rightwing Dems, Robert Naiman of Just Foreign Policy says.

This Thanksgiving, I’m thankful that the United States and Iran are not at war. I’m thankful that President Obama fulfilled his campaign promise to aggressively pursue diplomacy with Iran, making sure that all peaceful means are exhausted to reassure the international community that Iran will never try to build a nuclear weapon. I’m thankful that Secretary of State John Kerry put his reputation on the line to work aggressively to get a deal. I’m thankful that those efforts have been successful in producing an interim deal that opens the way to a comprehensive agreement, due not only to the work and commitment of President Obama and Secretary of State Kerry, but to the Iranian people for electing a new leadership determined to try to improve relations with the West. And I’m thankful to all the Americans who worked to elect President Obama on a platform of pursuing diplomacy.

Predictably, Republican warmongers like Lindsey Graham are attacking the deal. Unfortunately, with some noteworthy exceptions like California Senator Dianne Feinstein, most prominent Democratic politicians have not praised the deal, even though polls show the American people back the deal overwhelmingly. Perhaps some of these Democratic politicians are more concerned about retaining the campaign contributions of warmonger interest groups like AIPAC than they are in representing the opinions and interests of the majority of Americans.

In particular, former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton has been quiet. This is odd, because when there was a possibility that the U.S. would bomb Syria, Hillary wasn’t shy to endorse the bombing.

If Hillary would endorse the deal now, it would make a major contribution to peace. Lindsey Graham can complain all he wants, but in order to undermine President Obama’s diplomacy with Iran, the warmongers need to recruit key Democrats to their side, like New Jersey Democrat Robert Menendez, chair of the Senate Foreign Relations Committee. If Hillary endorses the deal, the political space for right-wing Democrats to undermine the deal will close.

Urge former Secretary of State Clinton to endorse the deal with Iran by signing our petition:

Thanks for all you do to help change our national priorities from foreign military intervention to fixing our problems at home,

Robert Naiman
Just Foreign Policy

depending on when exactly the secret talks started, i wouldn’t be too keen on giving obama so much credit about this. don’t forget, obama was pretty close to carrying out the orders of his ziomaster israelis until putin steppen in.
i don’t remember the dates for all this but if putin hadn’t stepped in i think obama would’ve been i good little israel puppet boy

      @thetruthhurts,

You are correct not to give too much credit to Obama, secret talks since March 2013.
Decisive was the aborted attack on Syria around 6/7 sept 2013(Hebrew New year),where Kerry had an “accidental slip of the tongue” ,and an agreement on Syrian chemical weapons followed inmediately after that.
To think that Obama,Kerry(Skull and Bones) make autonomous decisions is an illusion.
The big chessgame has tilted into Russia’s(BRICS) favor ,and Putin is giving the US a gracefull way out of the mess they put themselves in.
It’s obvious US/Europe have to cut their losses in order to avoid economic collapse and loss of control over the US/Europe,youth unemployment at 25%,huge deficits and financial bubbles.
There’s a big possibility we’re watching an even bigger theatre, with Israel recognizing she has become obsolete to the interests of the Bankers that rule US/Europe,and switched sides making deals with Russia,China and even Iran.
The Lobby failed to push US/Europe into attacking Syria and Iran, and the question is if that was really their objective.
The Cabal, where the Lobby belongs to, doesn’t care about Jews or Israel ,they care about power and money.
A huge fallout between Israel and the Lobby is to be expected.

‘A huge fallout between Israel and the Lobby is to be expected.” ….shachalnur says:

Wouldnt count on it…..the cabal running Israeli government is the same kind of power and money cabal as in the US zionist Lobby. They are alike.

The Clintons have said nothing about either Obama’s Iran deal or Sidney Blumenthal’s advocacy for his son’s book. They are political opportunists, waiting out the storm over both events before reassessing which way the wind blows (and how to position themselves for the drift of any campaign donations).

      @ Rusty

I doubt the Clintons will say anything. Hillary went into the dark money pit long ago.

JERUSALEM — Israeli-American media tycoon Haim Saban, a major donor to the U.S. Democratic party, said on Friday he would back former secretary of state Hillary Clinton with his “full might” should she run for president in 2016.

“The Clintons are political opportunists, waiting out the storm over both events before reassessing which way the wind blows (and how to position themselves for the drift of any campaign donations).”

Yes, I think that’s a valid assessment. After all, Hillary will need lots of cash for 2016.

Hillary is a disgrace on Mideast issues. The Clintons have never been anything but opportunists. No moral fiber.

exactly right … I highly recommend that all watch the brilliantly-written House of Cards series on Netflix … the power couple played by Kevin Spacey and Robin Wright are clear stand-ins for the Clintons and are portrayed as people who share of love of power and the game and with no moral center … the parallel to Mrs. Clinton is especially eery

MY COMMENT: I had a problem using the link that Phil embedded (which contains a lot of extraneous information because it was apparently copied from an e-mail). His link did take me to the petition, but when I submitted my “signature”, I received an error message. I removed the extraneous information from the HTTP, and everything worked fine.
THE PARED DOWN HTTP/LINK TO THE PETITION IS – http://petitions.moveon.org/sign/3am-wheres-hillary-on

Thanks, seems to have been corrected in article.

But a bigger issue is that Phil seemed to be quoting an email from the petition writer, Naiman, about the petition, not the actual petition.

This seems to be a significant an oversight- the actual petition is very short and even the background info does not mention AIPAC.

The real reason for a threatened nuke attack on Iran according to The National Interest interview with Maurice Greenberg of bailed out AIG/Star, [and the Council on Foreign Relations/Blackrock Peterson]:

JH: Should the administration have refused to sign?

MG: I wouldn’t have signed the deal.

JH: The precondition for a final deal is recognizing the Holocaust?

    MG: Absolutely.

JH: Should Israel be ready to attack? Is the likelihood higher?

MG: If Israeli intelligence turns up evidence that there are things going on that can affect their survival, do what you have to do.

Consider the moral calculus here, even if you take Greenberg at his word –

Having questions about a genocide 70 years ago justifies committing mass murder today.

This only makes sense if you’re a racial supremacist, which of course Zionists like Greenberg are.

Consider the economics. The oil price is 10 bucks higher because of Israeli warmongering. How much does that cost the average american goy family per year?

According to Stiglitz, multiple – trillions were siphoned off us taxpayers into aipac-opec linked domestic and Israeli defense – intell subcontractors, additional billions are simply missing. Surely the net effect of continuous instability and sanctioned Iranian / Syria exports add more trillions to the aipac-opec coffers.

Destruction of Israel and the Gulf petro states (meaning replacement of the current political economic arrangements with truly broad representative systems, not merely oligarchic arrangements as in the EU/USA) should be a goal for all humanity, even if viewed in a pure economic calculus. The benefit to all Americans not employed by the petro war system would be immense, freeing up those trillions in transfer payments for domestic consumption and investment.

Saban’s dirty dollars are a big problem for moral democrats. Just don’t vote Saban for president (through Hilary) for Pete’s sakes.

Remember Hilary wanted to “obliterate” Iran 6 years ago:
    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=857guwaNbRc

Disgusting the way she bulges her eyes like a psycho drunk on power when she talks about Iran. Horrible woman!

America’s still sick from The Bush and Clinton dynasties – neither families care about Americans, but they do indeed care much about lining their friends’ pockets with our taxpayer dollars, especially their friends who are deeply connected to that “shitty little country”.

At the end of the day, Democrat and Republican politicians will accept the AIPAC generated funds they need to win their elections. Those that win will pay the piper by increasing the size of the welfare check to Israel.

The Libertarian Party is the only one committed to ending the whole process whereby agents for a foreign country can finance an American political campaign and receive taxpayer dollars in exchange.

Call your incumbent Congressperson and the main party opponent and tell each that as long as they are going to compete with each other to show their subservience to Israel, you will vote for neither. Then go vote Libertarian.

Mrs. Clinton is part of that right wing faction and is a Israeli firster to the 10th level. When she runs again(which she will) she will much like Mr. Clinton run to the right of whoever republican front runner is. Heck many of the right wing democrats are allies with her and she’s bff’s with Saban and his family

one can take all the money from the aging grand parents and still do nothing or do the littlest possible like calling once a week to make sure they are alive.
I am thinking this as a possibility like that happens when the controller (aging grand parents or the lobby ) loses the intrinsic ,inbuilt power built around love, charisma, capacity, and future potential or real threat to security . AIPAC is losing that soft power. It has exhausted .How many times can one fly the flag of US and Israel together with the same motto – we are in this together ; we are fighting American wars in ME;we are the victims of terrorism like US is. No government will ever allow another 911 as Bush cronies did, particularly after NSA’s scope and breadth had become known to every human beings on earth. If anything like that happens government wont have any excuses . Given no possibility of anti American activities from muslim countries ,Israel has few choices but to change its strategy. America has learnt despite never wanting, to that the anti American activities in Iraq,PakAfghanistan,or Libya or mali or Somalia are self inflicted and could be controlled or eradicated by simply not engaging in fruitless unending costly intervention. This possibility robs Israel of the cherished weapon that it created – Islamophobia ,Islamofascism , hyped up issue of radical Islamic terrorism . Poor America is simply losing the interest . In attention works both ways. Voters dont want to hear those canard and half truths any more. Despite lack of knowledge and access to information , a large percentage does not believe official versions of these events including 911 .Other ignores it. Lobby has emptied its options. How is it possible for that fear to register with American voters that Iran is a threat after the futile attempt to subdue the other non existent threats from Mali to Indonesia-Phillipinies at a huge cost ?
Sure a false flag is always possible but the world is smarter now and so are the Americans including politicians in power like Biden who told Israel not to do another USS Liberty.
Israel lost the chances of reconfiguring ME by 2008.That was one of the reasons that from Podohoretz,Kagan,Kristol,Liberman,Sharon to Rupert Murdoch were not happy with US and were highly critical of Bush ( their language was deceptive- Bush did not listen to us or our advices..) over the way the war was executed as they saw their attempts to extend it to broader wars across ME did not materialize .
