Marvin Hier Simon Wiesenthal Center Anti Semitism List Max Blumenthal

Carlos Latuff has created a new cartoon of above following up on The Simon Wiesenthal Center year-end list of the “Top Ten Anti-Semitic/Anti-Israel Slurs” for 2013. As Phil Weiss and Allison Deger wrote when they reported on the list, “The Wiesenthal top ten is a crude fiat to isolate and defame activists and intellectuals, listing more BDS supporters than actual anti-Semites.” We now see the restrictions Wiesenthal Center head Rabbi Marvin Hier was operating under.

Obviously a crude caricature of Naftalie Bennett’s grin while dismantling Kerrey’s peace plan. http://news.antiwar.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/06/Bennett_Naftali.jpg

Bennett threatens to bolt if Kerry proposals are accepted
Bayit Yehudi and Likud MKs will symbolically tour Jordan Valley Jewish communities Thursday to send a message to Kerry that the settlements must remain. The trip will be led by Interior Minister Gideon Sa’ar, Netanyahu’s number two in Likud.

Defense Minister Moshe Ya’alon and National Infrastructures Minister Silvan Shalom also intend to fight against any proposal that would involve giving up Israeli control of the strategic valley.

Carlos Latuff was only upset that he did not make it on the list for the third year in a row.

He didn’t make it this year.

Peculiar kind of activity, this listmaking. Which brings us to the perfect morning routine: just before you start the day, just think about antisemitism for five minutes. No distractions , just very focused concentration. You’ll feel morally liberated all day and whatever you do will feel perfectly justified.
