Rightwing Israeli Shmuel Rosner once again justifies slaughter of Palestinian civilians in the New York Times, in a column praising Trump and calling Biden a Zionist who “understands the need to use force.”

100+ racial, economic, and social justice organizations have issued an open letter encouraging community institutions to rethink their relationships to the Anti-Defamation League (ADL). The letter comes in response to the ADL’s history of targeting and co-opting movements for justice—particularly those led by communities of color—and advancing Islamophobia, policing, and global militarism while projecting a false badge of progressivism.

John Nichols of The Nation magazine is one of the best political reporters in America. He knows more about grass-roots organizing than almost anyone else. The pandemic has exposed the degree to which structural racism and cross generational trauma have public health consequences. From childhood to adulthood, people of color are at risk for stress related illnesses: hypertension, heart disease, diabetes, obesity, and heart disease. Now that list includes COVID-19.

Trump reportedly berated Sheldon Adelson for not giving more millions to his flagging campaign. That’s good news. Trump is less likely to deliver to Adelson, and nuke Iran. Not that the New York Times even explores the foreign policy ramifications of the report.

This last week has seen Palestinian COVID-19 infections continue on a grim path, at least in the West Bank where there are more than 2,200 new cases.

In a delusory column in the New York Times, Bret Stephens says Israel only wants to annex land because it has been “ostracized” in the West. And American Jewish status is “fragile,” unlike in Israel. These crazed claims show that Israel advocates cannot deal with an argument for Palestinian rights.
