Journalist and activist Basil al-Adraa explains how a recent decision by Israel’s High Court to green light the destruction of eight villages in his home of Masafer Yatta, an area of 20 Palestinian communities in the West Bank’s South Hebron Hills, gives judicial consent to the violence Israeli forces and settlers have practiced for decades.
As told to producer/director Ghousoon Bisharat and cinematographer/editor Thomas Dallal.
