Sport is inseparable from politics. Despite Trump’s continued rhetoric about how immigration is “ruining Europe”, France won the World Cup by fielding a team made up of players from immigrant backgrounds who did not look like traditional Frenchmen.

After 28 years gone from the World Cup, Egypt came back and flared out quickly. Then Ahmad Saad was let down by Nigeria and Senegal. But there’s always Mexico! And what a way to piss off Donald Trump!

A review of the Netflix series “Fauda” by Ahmad Saad: “The show creators actually served in the secretive killing unit, which provides both gravity and a degree of perverted-ness to the show. The calls for sympathy for Israeli soldiers suffering from PTSD at having to torture Palestinians is rendered moot when their best form of therapy is to create a television show that mimics that reality.”
