I’m thrilled by Obama’s trip. I saw the big smile on Al-Maliki’s face as they met in Baghdad. I saw the big smile on the black soldiers’ faces. All the commentators saying Obama might screw up–they’re crazy. All the bogus questioning of whether this trip will be good or bad for him, nuts. The real story here is that The World Loves the Fact that the U.S. Is About to Anoint (by a landslide) a Glamorous Young Black President Who Has Real Connections to the Muslim World. That’s the only bottom line here, come on. Hey, I’m finally proud to be an American. Oh, that came out wrong…

Phil, please tell me that if McCain wins you'll leave the country in disgust and take Ed, and Martillo with you.
Sog, please leave also to Israel where you can live among the neonazijewish settlers in the occupied land. You are a drain on the USA, and nothing more.
