Joe the Plumber was asked if a vote for Obama was a vote for the "death of Israel," and he said, "I agree." I think at a Republican National Committee event. So Joe is now the official id of the McCain campaign, expressing the views that a small part of the Jewish population obviously has of Obama but isn't allowed to say officially. I think the point here is: All these people are about to be washed out to sea! No wonder David Frum of AEI is so busy distancing himself from the Republicans. He wants to stay relevant, doesn't want the great reframing to cut him off when the frame slams to earth next Wednesday. Remember when he said, Victory or Holocaust! And we should knock off Arab leader after Arab leader like a sniper knocks off hostage-takers? Well now he's sober, and only Joe gets to say that kind of stuff.
