I think we're reaching our rendezvous with destiny. There was something of an uprising when the Israeli Foreign Minister showed up, fresh after inking a last MOU (memorandum of understanding) with the compliant Condi.
Security guards stood
tensely in front of the press podium while Livni answered strident
questions from reporters from Al-Jazeera and other Middle East news
organizations, CNN and NBC.
One reporter was physically removed from the microphone when he charged Livni was a terrorist.
A moderator from the National Press Club, where the event was held,
tried to cut off another reporter who read at length from a Human
Rights Watch report detailing the killing and 'murder' of Palestinian
children.

alas the wings of the myth are melting in the bright sunlight…
'alas the wings of the myth are melting in the bright sunlight…'
Israel as Icarus.
Livni responded to one reporter's question with "The four letter word I want to use I can't say." or something to that effect. But I didn't hear her repeat her "Israel has gone wild," comment, when referring to the over-the-top military assault on the Gaza Ghetto.
Wow, this confrontation has to be a first for the NPC. I bet I wouldn't even have fallen asleep.
They made all the al-Jazeera reporters remove their shoes before entering the press room.

Have you ever seen a baboon laughing? Frightening isn't it?
"Get the monkey before he gets us!!!"
Too late. Now I'm in for another week in the monkey rehabilitation ward. And when they ask me if I got PAZ-JEWed again, all my post-laughing mouth is able to produce is "MM… MM… MM… MMMMMMM!!!"
'alas the wings of the myth are melting in the bright sunlight…'
'Israel as Icarus.'
More like Dracula 'in bright sunlight'.
Some things just can't stand close examination.
