"Thanks for the video about the kids kicking the Arab woman," writes Andrea Whitmore of Kansas City. "When I was in Hebron with Interfaith Peace Builders our little group happened upon a soldier who was pulling on one end of an old Arab man's cane. The man was in full Arab dress. The cane was parallel to the ground and the man was desperately trying to hold on to it and stay upright while the soldier tugged and wagged it back and forth. Before I could think, I said, 'Stop it,' (pretty stupid) and the soldier actually did stop. He even looked abashed--probably because I could have been his mother."

For a counterpoint: read this story of an Israeli "refusenik"
"Thanks for the video about the kids kicking the Arab woman," writes Andrea Whitmore.
Except it was a piece of propagandist bullshit PhotoShopped by a moron.
But thanks, anyway. It's the thought that counts.
It's not even done well. I realize again and again what an idiot Weiss is.
You mean like all those photos of "extermination" camps and "gas chambers"? The lamp shades made of human skin? (Yawn)
Andrea, there is no webpage at the link you provided. Did something happen to it?
I can't get the link to work. It doesn't seem to contain a URL.
Then it was the Israeli papers doing the photoshopping because all of these images came from Israeli videos, and were originally shown in Israel. But our resident trolls would have you believe otherwise.
Here's the link:

Senior U.K. diplomat said arrested over anti-Semitic tirade
By Haaretz Service

A senior diplomat in the British Foreign Office has been arrested for inciting religious hatred after he launched into an anti-Semitic tirade at a London gym, the Daily Mail reported on Monday.
Witnesses told the British newspaper they heard diplomat Rowan Laxton shouting "f**king Israelis, f**king Jews" while watching a TV report of Israel Defense Forces operations in Gaza from the seat of an exercise bike.

e also reportedly shouted that IDF soldiers should be "wiped off the face of the Earth."
The Daily Mail said Laxton continued the tirade even after he was approached by other gym users.
A complaint was later filed to police and Laxton was arrested and charged with inciting religious hatred, which carries a maximum seven-year prison term. He has since been released on bail.
You can see the impossible angle of the boy. But what are you going to believe? The truth? Or your lying eyes?

Here's a roundup of American media coverage in the MSM, including

Amnesty International: Hamas carrying out 'deadly campaign' against opponents in Gaza
By Haaretz Service

Amnesty International group on Tuesday accused Hamas of carrying out a "deadly campaign" against its Palestinian opponents and critics in the Gaza Strip, particularly those they accuse of "collaborating" with Israel.
"Hamas forces in the Gaza Strip have carried out a deadly campaign of abductions, killings, torture and death threats against those they accuse of 'collaborating' with Israel, as well as opponents and critics," the human rights group wrote in its latest report, released on Tuesday.
"At least two dozen [Palestinian] men have been shot dead by Hamas gunmen and scores of others have been kneecapped, beaten or otherwise tortured or ill-treated," according to the report.

The rights group said that most of the victims were kidnapped from their homes and then released, either dead or wounded, in isolated areas or in local morgues. Others were shot dead at the hospital while being treated for their wounds, according to the report.
Amnesty International succeeded in gathering testimonies from a number of victims, but said many others refused to come forward for fear of retribution from Hamas.
In its report, the rights group urged Hamas to "immediately end the campaign of abuses" and to allow an impartial force into the Gaza Strip to investigate the allegations."
Tensions between Hamas, who seized control of Gaza in a bloody 2007 coup, and opponent groups such as Fatah have flared again in the wake of Israel's 22-day offensive on the Gaza Strip. The sides have held negotiations on reconciliation, but to little avail.
Amnesty's findings come in the wake of numerous media reports and quiet complaints by Fatah activists of similar instances.
Late last month, Hamas announced that it had begun reasserting control in the Gaza Strip and rounding up suspected collaborators with Israel, drawing accusations from the rival Fatah group that its members were being targeted.
"The internal security service was instructed to track collaborators and hit them hard," said Ehab al-Ghsain, spokesman of the Hamas Interior Ministry, without singling out Fatah members by name.
"They arrested dozens of collaborators who attempted to strike the resistance by giving information to the occupation about the fighters," he said, using a Hamas term for Israel. a
Israeli soldiers speak out
About the Dutch resistance fighter Hannie Schaft, executed by the Germans on 17th April 1945
"On 10 May 1940, German forces crossed the Dutch border and after four days of fighting, culminating in the bombardment of Rotterdam, Holland capitulated and the occupation began. Initially, little changed for Hannie Schaft but she was disgusted by recent events and alarmed by the presence of German troops on the streets. This period of relative normality soon came to an end when in October 1940 the persecution of the Dutch Jews began.
During the next two years Hannie Schaft became involved in minor acts of resistance against the authorities. It began with stealing identity cards from public places (the swimming baths was a favourite location) to help keep her Jewish friends out of the hands of the Germans. Later she progressed to stealing weapons from German soldiers and distributing underground pamphlets. When the German authorities finally demanded that all students sign a declaration of loyalty, she refused and abandoning her studies returned permanently to Haarlem.
In 1943 she joined the communist-leaning resistance group, the Raad van Verzet. Her duties included gathering information for the allies, helping fugitives and distributing underground pamphlets. What set her apart from many other women involved in illegal organisations though was her willingness to take part in dangerous activities usually carried out only by men.
Two close associates of Hannie Schaft who also fell into this category were the sisters Truus and Freddie Oversteegen. Although they were even younger than Hannie, they were destined to take part in many dangerous missions together. These included weapon transports, sabotage and the liquidation of collaborators.
Those targeted for assassination were usually Dutch citizens who had allied themselves with the Germans and were actively involved in the betrayal of their fellow countrymen. The RVV saw it as their duty to stop these people by the only means available to them under the prevailing circumstances – liquidation." (!!)
Thanks for the video clips, Sarah. The IDF vets speaking out is long, but everyone who comes to this blog should view it. Their stated reason (near the end) for making the video is so Americans "know what they are enabling."
Nothing like a dose of reality from to make one immune to Hasbara agents, and to make one realize how truly evil they are. They say
the IDF and Israel government's continued criminal acts from top to bottom absolutely "depends on American public opinion."
And that when "Big Brother" (USA) is preoccupied (eg 9/11, General Election Day, etc–they ASAP commit their most heinous pre-planned state acts on the Palestinians."
