And Netanyahu imagines an economic partnership with the Palestinians

The Independent reports that Israel's blockade of Gaza is preventing the entry of lentils, macaroni, and hearing aids.

Paper to print new textbooks for Palestinian schools was stopped, as
were freezer appliances, generators and water pumps, cooking gas and
chickpeas. And the French government was incensed when an entire water
purification system was denied entry.

To my fellow American Jews:
Jim Crow was better than this for black people.

I try to visualize the tremendous sense of self-importance of a person (?or persons) who can at a stroke of a pen decide what 1.5 million people can or can't receive on a day.

Consider just how much BIGGER the rush is in comparison with the sense of self-importance when manning checkpoints and being able to tell people that they cannot (just because YOU say so) go to hospital, work, school or family meeting.

I can only imagine how this rots and corrupts the soul, and it scares me.

Eva,these actions don't rot the soul. The soul is already rotten.

Noodles are a luxury item. What sort of mind dreams this stuff up?

I admit Jim Crow was better. But that was just southern white america denying humanism to blacks. Israel is denying the ability to wage war to Hamas.

Big difference, but not to an antisemite.

So, chris, you agree Israel is worse than the KKK, denying Palestinians the natural right of any man to
live with self-determination on his own land, the land he's tilled for centuries. Nice you recall it was
on Jewish owned slave ships that the blacks came to what is now the USA. Can't give all the credit to crackers, you know. Give credit where it is due.

  6. Bibi is thinking in terms of what on the Mexican border are called "maquiladoras" IIRC. check it out with your search engine, I won't presume it's google.

Absolutely, Rowan – his policy in a nutshell, but I think he believes Palestinians should not be mollycoddled with those excessive, and totally unnecessary, benefits that Mexicans enjoy.
