‘LA Times’ makes nice to Bibi

A lot of hasbara and "softening" in this Netanyahu piece in the LA Times– two Israel lobbyists quoted, David Makovsky and someone from the American Jewish Committee. Where's Brian Baird, or John Mearsheimer?
While in Israel, the left shouts, It's a government of settlers.

  1. John says:

Israel is betraying the trust of the world to have a duty of care for the native people of Palestine.
Its absolute power over the Palestinians transcends the principle of Democracy. The State has institutionalized a rule which denies universal humanity. The Palestinians endure this arbitrary wrongness all around them. For how long will the Hasbara slogan grinders cloud these matters?
Their warbling will be rejected before too long.
One day they will realize that they are human beings as are their neighbours.

  2. If my analysis of the cash flows are correct, we should see more such Netanyahu-sympathetic pieces in the LA Times because the paper is hemorrhaging red-ink. Murdoch discovered the easiest way to get loans for expansion was broadcasting or publishing what the Israel Lobby/Judonia wanted to see or read.
