Max Blumenthal: Bibi’s Big Problem

Part Two from Max Blumenthal focuses on the Israeli settlement enterprise in the West Bank (Part One is here). He visits the Balata refugee camp in Nablus and the Israeli settlement Ariel - the juxtaposition speaks for itself - and then the South Hebron Hills where settler outposts get a helping hand from the Israeli military:

Note that Blumenthal focuses on the funding from Michael Milkin and Rev. John Hagee in Ariel, a topic we've followed on this site. It's currently legal in the US to fund a rec center in Ariel or help send guns to settlers in Hebron, but nearly impossible to get humanitarian aid into Gaza.

Wow! Great reporting Max!!! You put the US media to shame, shame, shame.

  2. seham says:

    Max is the American media.

  3. Tuyzentfloot says:

Cute clip of John Hagee, who apparently belongs in the basket with all things barking mad.

  4. ThorsProvoni says:

If more Jews were honest about the inherently terrorist, racist and genocidal nature of Zionism and the Zionist state, it might be possible to put Milken and Hagee in jail for aiding and abetting terrorism: Saving America in 100 Words. If you want to solve the problem in Palestine, you have to be willing to work hard to put a lot of amcha (עמך) in jail. The cruelty of Zionism is not a misunderstanding. The genocidal murderousness was intended right from the start.

I'm delighted that Max has been reporting on this topic… bravo!

Michael Milken and John Hagee: what perfect metaphors for corrupt, Judaized-America and the post-Christian, "Judeo-Christian” US. Milken, a white collar crook and globalization advocate who along with fellow Jew Ivan Boesky pioneered a tradition of major Wall Street financial chicanery in the 80’s that has today accelerated and put the US and much of the world in the economic toilet. Nonetheless, he served only two years of a 10 year sentences, was allowed to keep much of his ill-gotten fortune and today continues to pursue his Jewish-supremacist agenda by financing Jews-only schools and facilities in Israel and America. Hagee, a Judeo-Christian Zionist televangelist charlatan and fraud who works hand-in-glove with Israel to glorify the Jewish state and cultivate the idea in the Bible Belt and American heartland that US soldiers should happily sacrifice themselves in Mideast wars for Zion. The girth of his corpulence is only outmatched by the scale of his Satanic Judas treachery. Blood-drenched ghouls, both.

"…It's currently legal in the US to fund a rec center in Ariel or help send guns to settlers in Hebron, but nearly impossible to get humanitarian aid into Gaza…" Don't be surprised if this policy is changed and Palestinians get equal US treatment and aid down the road. There are a million ways the US chief executive can concentrate Israeli minds into seeing things his way if he really means to drive his I/P initiative.

Actually, it is illegal. But the US does not enforce violations of the 1917 Espionage Act, the Foreign Agents Registration Act, the Symington and Glenn Amendments or, more relevant to this topic, the prohibition on Expeditions against friendly nations: ***************************************************************************************************************************** TITLE 18 > PART I > CHAPTER 45 > § 960 § 960. Expedition against friendly nation Whoever, within the United States, knowingly begins or sets on foot or provides or prepares a means for or furnishes the money for, or takes part in, any military or naval expedition or enterprise to be carried on from thence against the territory or dominion of any foreign prince or state, or of any colony, district, or people with whom the United States is at peace, shall be fined under this title or imprisoned not more than three years, or both. http://www.law.cornell.edu/uscode/search/display....

The settler emptied the jug over me. It was full of human sh_t.”… ENTIRE ARTICLE - http://www.independent.co.uk/news/world/middle-ea...

Interlopers. The United States needs to cut Israel off. If we continue to back them militarily, we are no better than they are. -great video Max…

    concise and to the point.

    Speechless. Great reporting.

  13. Oh, yeah... says:

Chu – "We" are "they" Israel is the US in the Middle East

  14. Dahoud says:

Remember, what Max has filmed has been going on since late 1947 (and before.) Since then, essentially defenceless Palestinians have been murdered, expelled, dispossessed, humiliated and brutalized by Jewish and Israeli forces with impunity. If only camera's had recorded what took place in Haifa in late April 1948, when 60,000 Palestinians were driven out and in Jaffa a few days later, when 75,000 more were bombarded by the Irgun and expelled. Similar incidents, including scores of massacres took place all over Palestine. Between 300,000 and 350,000 Palestinians were expelled DURING THE FIVE MONTHS FOLLOWING PASSAGE OF THE RECOMMENDATORY ONLY PARTITION PLAN (NOV. 29/47) AND 15 MAY 1948 WHEN THE "JEWISH STATE" OF ISRAEL WAS PROCLAIMED.

  15. Dahoud says:

During the ensuing war, brought on by the ongoing expulsion of Palestinians into neighboring countries, the outgunned and outnumbered Arab state armies were defeated. Israel then went on to seize 78% of Palestine, expel an additional 450,000 to 500,000 Palestinians and demolish nearly 500 of their towns and villages, including mosques, churches and cemeteries. It was only the beginning of the fascist onslaught. Since 1949 the zionists have invaded and occupied East Jerusalem, the West Bank, Syria's Golan Heights, Lebanon's Shebba Farms and of course the Gaza Strip. which is still "occupied" under international law. Thankfully, the handwriting is on the wall. These racist thieves, thugs, murderers and liars are running out of time. Increasingly, the world, incuding the U.S., is seeing them for what they are. No wonder a million Israeli Jews have emigrated and immigration is less than a trickle. Zionism is in its death throes. All of us, especially Jews, will be free of its curse.

  16. Chadwick Meyer says:

Great video. This is the type of coverage that people need to see. Most people who support Israel (and I do support a healthy Israeli state) do so ignorantly with no clue about the costs. The occupation is self-destructive to Israel, not to even begin to mention grossly violent and destructive to the Palestinians. It cannot succeed, and is only prolonging the continuation of violence in the region. It will come crumbling down, but how much sorrow will it cause first? And what wil be the long term effects? It is sowing seeds that will bear fruit of justified hatred against Israel for generations. Unfortunately this is circular because those that are pro-settlement point to this as "anti-semitism" which is used to justify the occupation on the rational of "security". The settlements are destroying Israel. They are undermining the legitimacy of the government, destroying the rule of law, diminishing the moral authority and image of the Jewish people the world over, creating a culture within Israel that has lost respect for human life, all for what? Israel has enough land for it's needs, enough to build a beautiful, healthy, economically powerful, technologically advanced, socially progressive, historically rooted state. What if all this money and political effort was used to build Israel's infrastructure and promote peaceful coexistence with it's neighbors? Israel has so much potential, I hate to see it destroying itself in this way. It's so sad and insane.
