Al Jazeera reports on New Profile and the Israeli conscientious objector movement

This new piece on Al Jazeera English gives a great overview of the Israeli conscientious objector movement and the crack down on the organization New Profile that we've been following here on the site. As the piece shows, New Profile is not only concerned with the military itself, but the militarization of Israeli society more broadly. Also, I've had the pleasure of meeting Tali Lerner and it's difficult to describe the courage and commitment these young people have in challenging their society's most central norms. Their work is truly commendable.
