I-dont-hate-Israel orders demolition of 9 Palestinian houses near Nablus

Memo to Barack Obama. This is from WAFA, the Palestinian news agency. Is it true? If it’s true, then what are you going to do about it, sit on your hands? It sounds like ethnic cleansing to me, in the name of colonization that is destroying U.S. policy/image in the Middle East.

Israeli Occupation Forces warned, today, nine families that their houses, east of Nablus, will be destroyed.

Israeli authorities ordered these families to evacuate their homes to be demolished immediately.

A Palestinian official in charge of the colonization file in the north of the West Bank, Ghassan Daghlas, said that the concerned Palestinian parties are contacting the families to coordinate legal ways to face these procedures.

Why would this not be true? Because a Palestinian news agency is reporting it?

Philip, when you use such phrases as

I-dont-hate-Israel

and

This is from WAFA, the Palestinian news agency. Is it true?

You are doing yourself and this fine website a disservice.

Readers who do not frequent this blog on a regular basis will not understand all these inside jokes and sarcastic quips. Instead of broadening your base, you end up creating a niche forum, exclusive to a select few who understand where you’re coming from. In some respect it’s similar to the way chat room abbreviations like “lol”, “brb”, “rotflmao”, “imho” and “ymmv” may alienate others who are not familiar with these acronyms.

I must admit I have made that same mistake a few times, but I resolve to avoid such mistakes.

Nine families may not mean nine buildings so the number of houses could be inaccurate.
