Haaretz is saying that the U.S. is angry at Defense Minister Ehud Barak for lying about the progress of the peace process. Hillary too. Here is what I don’t understand: Barak as prime minister had an open line to Bill Clinton throughout 2000 “peace process.” That’s in Clayton Swisher’s book and Aaron David Miller’s too.
