Suicide bomber is a hero for ‘Times of London’– in Libyan context

This article from Libya by war correspondent James Hider of the Times of London is praising a suicide bombing by a Libyan man who drove his car made of home-made bombs into the barracks of Libyan soldiers. He’s being called a revolutionary hero. I pinched myself to make sure I was awake. Granted it wasn’t against civilians, but suicide attacks against soldiers in Iraq and Israel are routinely described as terrorism. Is this an hint at the shift of how the media is going to view Arabs from now on? And will Palestinians always be the exception?
