B’nai Brith Canada wants to ban utterance of words ‘Israeli apartheid’ at publicly-funded events

In Toronto, the City Council has navigated an annual political clash by agreeing to help fund this year’s gay pride parade, but condemning the use of the term “Israeli apartheid” by the group Queers Against Israeli Apartheid.

The B’nai Brith Canada wants to go further. In applauding the City Council decision, the B’nai Brith seeks to ban the use of the words.

B’nai Brith is anticipating Toronto City Council’s upcoming anti-discrimination policy debate where it hopes the policy will be revised to prevent the use of the term “Israeli Apartheid” at taxpayer-funded events.

Upon passage of the motion at today’s Toronto City Council session, Frank Dimant, CEO of B’nai Brith Canada issued the following statement:

“The passage of this motion condemning the use of the term “Israeli Apartheid” at Pride has signaled to Toronto, and indeed the entire country, that hate and intolerance are not welcome at Canada’s largest Pride festival.”

Silly.
There probably aren’t any taxpayer funded events where someone uses Israel apartheid.

“The passage of this motion condemning the use of the term “Israeli Apartheid” at Pride has signaled to Toronto, and indeed the entire country, that hate and intolerance are not welcome at Canada’s largest Pride festival.”

To hell with free speech, so long as fifth columnists and israel-Firsters are satisfied…

I love it.

Whenever zionist goons try do stuff like this it always blows up in their face and Israel gets much more bad press than they would have otherwise.

Israeli Apartheid!
Israeli Apartheid!
Israeli Apartheid!

Arrest me!

“I do find the expression particularly odious. It certainly negatively impacts and offends a large number of people in my community,’ [City Councillor Josh Colle] said.

Maybe an apartheid like negative impact or even worse? Thank God he knows who the real victims are and how much they suffer. The truth can be so cruel to infants growing up in a Zionist education system.

This is good, trying to ban the truth, according to the International Legal study funded and co-ordinated by the Government of South Africa, found that the practices of Israel in the West Bank including East Jerusalem and the Gaza strip constitute both Colonialism and Apartheid here: http://electronicintifada.net/downloads/pdf/090608-hsrc.pdf , indeed many leading South Africans when comparing Israels practises with the Apartheid regime in SA say Israels is worse, and they should know. The Russell Tribunal last year here: http://www.middleeastmonitor.org.uk/articles/guest-writers/3012-testimony-to-the-russell-tribunal-on-palestine-apartheid-in-the-occupied-palestinian-territory also found Apartheid was practised. Toronto officials find the term Apartheid odious, it is, and its TRUE.
