AIPAC calling! Below we publish four telephone pitches on behalf of the Israel lobby group the American Israel Public Affairs Committee, and you can see that over four years, the script never changes. Israel is always on the cliff.
Israel faces “serious threats.” Or, “mounting threats.” From everyone from Hamas to Iran to Syria, lately. Even the Palestinian Authority is a threat, with its statehood bid and its refusal to negotiate.
Notice too the fearful importance of critics. “Detractors from around the world.” The Goldstone Report and the delegitimizers.
Also note: the nervousness the pitches play upon over a new administration in the White House in 2009, and about a new Congress then and this year. We have to make sure that these politicians stand by Israel.
Finally, notice the incantation, “the Jewish state.” I think these calls are going out to mostly old Jews, and that’s a tocsin that ain’t no toxin.
The pitches were contained in filings by the Siegel Marketing Group of Milwaukee with the Massachusetts Secretary of State’s office, to comply with regulations governing phone solicitations for charities. AIPAC is a tax-deductible charity.

AIPAC’s influence pales when compared to that of our big media outlets, private and public, for setting the scene of Israel as victim rather than ethnic cleanser in order to goad the American public and our politicians to flood taxpayer dollars on their foreign ward.

It’s always 1938. Jews still have no power, least of all in the nuclear state of Israel, with the 4th strongest army, and backed by a matrix of lone superpower US MOUs & a long list of congressional resolutions supporting Israel to the hilt, come what may. Even the needs of Americans to home heating fuel are secondary to Israel’s oil needs–thank you Kissinger.
