The Telegraph in London reports that Sarah Palin was schooled by neoconservatives over the last two weeks, resulting in her suggestion to Charlie Gibson that Georgia was worth a military confrontation with Russia, and that she first came to the Washington right's attention when a Weekly Standard boat trip pulled up in Juneau a year or so back. I guess Palin missed The Nation's boat ride. The Telegraph notes that Bill Kristol schooled neophyte Dan Quayle back when and he's schooling Palin now. Bill Kristol's father Irving never had this sort of influence. The reason? In a word, the Jewish rise into the establishment. Again I say it is amazing that Obama is not calling out the neocons who serve McCain. Or for that matter that McCain is so responsive to these Jacobins. Both men are passive because the neocons continue to have real financial and institutional backing. Where is the American journalism that will finally defenestrate them?
