Amos Guiora who spent 19 years in the Israeli army including being former legal adviser to the [occupied] Gaza Strip is giving a lecture at Harvard’s Kennedy School on Monday about how to fight asymmetrical war/counterterrorism, with Goldstone as a case study. From the looks of it, it would seem to be more steaming tripe heaved at the South African jurist.
Do I have any friends going to the event? Could they slip me a note afterward? Thanks.
By the way, let me emphasize: today Dana Golan of Breaking the Silence said in New York that soldiers approached the dissident group last year to say that in the Gaza conflict new lines were being crossed in terms of targeting civilians. I’ll dig out the actual quotes later. Oh and the occupying army covered up abuses in Gaza all the time. Wonder if Guiora is going to talk about that.
