Art smuggled out of Israeli prison by Mohammad Saba’aneh
This drawing by prominent Palestinian cartoonist Mohammad Saba’aneh has recently surfaced, reportedly smuggled out from prison.
Saba’aneh was detained by Israeli forces last February, held without charge for months and is now serving a 5 month sentence, ostensibly for “contact with a hostile organization”.

What talent. I pray for his release– his “voice” is so needed. I also fervently wish for the release of all those Palestinians wrongfully imprisoned. I want Gitmo shut down.
I want, I want, I want…………justice. Thanks Annie.
In a parallel universe Natan Sharansky would campaign for his release.
