Several aspects of the current political situation are bothering me, and I am also worried about a few small problems in my personal life. So, yesterday morning, I decided to take a walk around the city. The weather was beautiful. As I walked, I noticed that the neighborhood was peppered with homemade signs, questioning the integrity of Senator Chuck Schumer. The first was on 77th and Lexington, right next to the subway entrance:
Another (at the top of this post) was on 85th and 3rd. Another was on a bus shelter at 84th Street.
Of course, these signs seem to be part of a guerrilla tactic. But then nobody seemed to be tearing down the signs. The Upper East Side is the heart of “Schumer Country.” There’s also a lot of Jewish people who really love Obama, living here. Senator Schumer has neglected them, and me. I voted for him in the past, but I’m probably not going to vote for him again.
