Marking the 74th anniversary of the Nakba (catastrophe), as Palestinians describe the 1948 war and its aftermath, Palestinian journalist and filmmaker Rami Younis tells the story of his hometown, al-Lyd in central Israel.

Rami describes what motivated him, co-director Sarah Emma Friedland and Executive Producer Roger Waters, to make what they call a science-fiction documentary about the city’s past, present, and an alternative future.

As told to producer/director Ghousoon Bisharat and cinematographer/editor Thomas Dallal.
